we are going down to disney this week,and are going to probaly join the dvc .at this time all that is available is the wildernes lodge .i have heard alot 0f good about bw+okw but not much about the lodge please enlighten me should i still go for it .

You hear more about BWV and OKW because they have been around much longer than WLV and many more people have had experience at these resorts. WLV is brand new and many people have not had the opportunity to stay there yet. We vistited the WLV in December and loved them. We added on some more points there shortly after we returned and we are going for our fist stay in 2 weeks. I can't wait. It's a very lovely resort. Very peaceuful. It's all a matter of what type of themeing you prefer. But don't write it off yet until you've seen them. You may be pleasantly surprised.

So far WLV is the fastest selling DVC resort in its history. The sales pace says more about the resort then anything else. What negative opinions you may have read were posted before they ever toured there. I too, was not impressed with the photos that were printed in Vacation Magic. However, when I visited in March, I was VERY impressed. Let your own eyes be the judge.

Hasn't it been a long winter in Mass!! Malden is not very far from where I live and only a stones throw from Lynn where I work. I hope that you have a great trip to Disney next.

As for OKW and BW these are only available through resale so Disney is not going to be able to sell you these resorts. I have a resale broker that can help you with these resorts if this is where you want to be. If you email me I'll be glad to share our experiences with both buying through Disney and buying a resale.
