I had the same leather sectional from LazyBoy for probably 10 years. It held up well, but finally it was time to put it to rest.
After that I bought a beautiful butterscotch colored chenielle set from Broyhill. It lasted about a year and looked like crap. Though I bought fabric that was rated "heavy" wear.
Now, I'm really at the bottom of the barrel. I replaced that set with another leather sectional, this time from Room to Go. I figured if it didn't last, at least I wouldn't have a lot invested. Of course, that was a bad move on my part. It's junk, it's all scratched up. It's uncomfortable. There is already stuffing coming out of a cushion that did not hold its seem.
So, I'm back on the hunt. Looking for comfortable, well made and ( hopefully ) long lasting. FAMILY room, husband eats on it while watching TV, I napped on it today. Dogs snooze on it all the time.
Suggestions are appreciated. I saw one I really loved at Ethan Allen. I didn't like the $6000 price tag, however.
