Looking for a fairy godmailerhelp for golfer...

When we were at WDW a couple of weeks ago, DH wanted to get a Mickey golf ball to add to his collection and forgot.

I have tried to find the number of a Pro Shop there at one of the golf courses to see how much they cost and order it online but have had no luck. Does anyone know where I can order one? Or if someone is going between now and early Dec. (Christmas present, maybe) and can find me one, I would be glad to reimburse you the money for it plus shipping.

I only want one little ol' golf ball but a three pack would do, one for DH, DD and DS since we're a golfing family. I only wish we could have played a course while we were there. We only got to do the miniature course.

Maybe there'll be a next time...

You can also call the MAIL ORDER # that you can find on ANY RECEIPT of anything you bought at WDW!!! You just need to call and explain to them what you want/where you saw it, and they will mail it to you (for a charge of course!). It is NOT the online Disney store. It is the Walt Disney World MAIL ORDER merchandise service.

We left my younger DDs new pink princess sweatshirt SOMEWHERE on our last trip...she was distraught...I called the handy dandy phone number, decribed the sweatshirt and that we had puchased it at the Boardwalk...NO PROBLEM! Two weeks (and 50 bucks) later we had a nice new jacket--they even sent it in a WDW shopping bag!!!!!!

I don't know if I have a receipt with the # on it, but I am sure you could do a search on these boards or post a question...

Does anyone have a receipt with the phone # for WDW mail order?? It is on the top of the receipt (ANY receipt for merchandise purchased in the World)...

I personally wouldn't go directly through Disney because my understanding is that they charge a fee in addition to the cost of the item and the shipping. Why pay an upcharge as long as you find a DISer that you trust. I used to be a concierge and know that the upcharge for personal shopping is usually around $25 per hour. I would use the Disney shopping service under that circumstance only as a last resort.

I don't think that Disney Merchandise charge any additional fee other than cost plus shipping. The shipping can be pretty pricey, but is often worth it of you need to get hold of something. Also out of state orders don't have the Florida sales tax added (some, not all states can get that) I had some stuff sent home directly from Disney and the sales tax deduction was enough to cancel out the shipping fee. Disney really do have a department just for 'mail order' items. It does take a couple of weeks for the items to get to you. I haven't had any problems with it. I have ordered stuff both online and over the phone, and also had stuff sent back from WDW.

I would call them, instead of sending an email( if you are going to go that route). I have sent them a couple of emails( about 5) and out of the 5 emails, I have only gotten 2 emails back. Plus it takes a longer time for them to get back to you, so calling them will go a lot faster.
