Hot Shoe flash for my Pentax K-7 that will not break the bank. I have one now but it is about 20 years old and I would like to get a new one. Anyone have suggestions as to what they use and if they like it.

Thanks

I bought a Yongnuo 468 from an EBay vendor. It works nicely with my Canon RebelXS and 60D cameras (E-TTL II). I am not familiar with Pentax, but Yongnuo may make one for Pentax as well. The 468 is similar in power/features to the Canon 4xx series at less than 1/2 the price - I paid $85 for mine.

There were quality issues with earlier Yongnuo flashes so you might want to do some online research to help you decide.

I use the Sigma EF-530 DG Super on my Pentax K10D's and K5. I think the new model is the EF-610 DG Super, with a guide number of 61 (more powerful than mine, guide #53). I also have the more basic ST model and have been happy with both of them. They are fully PTTL.
