Looking for 45-60 points December 5-10

I'm looking for points for December 5-10. These points are actually for a friend that is new to the whole renting points thing. The amount needed (45-60, I think) will depend on availability at the resorts. Her first is a studio (standard view) at BWV, second choice is a studio at BCV, third choice is studio at SSR or VWL. Fourth choice would be OKW. If anyone has points and can check availability please pm me or email me. TIA-Dana

Thanks for the link to a booking that is for dates that I don't need. I realize there is very limited availability at DVC resorts at this time of year. But, there could be cancellations, or my friend could settle for fewer nights. I guess I just don't understand why you replied to this post if you don't have points for rent or have personally called MS to check availability. Thanks though!

I replied to just show you that DVC members are checking for renters and coming up with virtually nothing. I had checked a few days earlier, and got pretty much the same answers from MS. It will only get worse, not better. Besides you didn't indicate that your friends would consider less nights or have any kind of flexibility in the original post. Most of the renters I have dealt with, surprisingly, were pretty much fixated on specific dates and resorts.

I apologise for trying to help you in any way. I took way too much time out of you very busy day (and mine)....

Sorry, didn't realize you were trying to help. By just posting that link, it seemed like you were insinuating that there was no availabilty and that I should know better. I knew that availabilty was limited.... but you never know unless you ask! BTW, my friend got OKW for those dates.

Glad to hear about OKW. Fortunately, for those willing to be flexible or settle, something usually comes up.
