Does anyone know of a 24 hour grocery store between Orlando International airport and WDW? We are not landing until 12:30am, but would love to get our grocery stop out of the way before checking in.

Or, if no grocery store, does anyone know of a 24 hour convenience store that we could stop at?

Thanks

Are you staying at one of the DVC resorts? I believe they still have the service of shopping (only certain items) for you. If it is just the basics that you need, that may help you out. We did that several years ago, and it was all in the refrigerator when we checked in. I think it was just purchased and brought up from the resort's General Store.

The Walmart on 192 is the only supermarket that I know is open 24 hours but I would not say that it is directly between the airport and WDW. It is behind Medival Times at about marker 13 (I can't remember if it was 13 or 16). If you are faimiliar with the roads, you can go directly to the Walmart from the airport but if you're like me, you would drive to I-4, pass WDW, and then take 192 east for roughly 8 miles. I probably would want to head straight to the room rather than attempt to navigate an unknown area late at night.

Rather than go east on 192, you could also go west on 192 for about 3 miles where there will be a 7-11 on the right hand side. There is a shopping center off exit 68 (first Disney exit, it might be 67). A post office is around the corner in this mall but there may be some gas stations with convenience stores in the area. I'd be a little leery about some of these as they know that they are going after the tourist trade and have very high prices.

There are some other supermarkets IPublix) east off exit 67 or 66 near Vistana Resort and Hilton's timeshare but I don't know if they are open 24 hours. I don't know if this helps or not but it should at least provide a starting point. There are some Walgreens off 192 that I think are open 24 hours but the selection for food is limited.

Thanks so much for the info. Unfortunately we have used up our points, so we are staying at the Pop Century this trip. I dont think the grocery service would be available there.

Since we are not super familiar with the area, I think we will just head out the next day for our grocery stop. I would hate to get lost that late at night. Actually, maybe I will try to bring down some food and then just pick up a few things at the Pop Century store. We wont have a kitchen, and our fridge will be very small so we cant do any real cooking.

Thanks so much for your responses.

Just in case, there is an Albertson's at exit 11 - Orange Blossom Trail off 417 from the airport. Our Albertson's at home is open 24 hours. It is a large shopping area - Home Depot, Steak n Shake, gas station, etc. There is a toll to either exit or re enter or both. I don't remember exactly.
