Hi we are heading to Walt Disney World for 10 days at the end of October this year. We have a 8 year old son. Wanted a hotel convenient to Disney world , restaurants, good pool etc, but also a place we can go back to and relax at times. We will be renting a car.

Just from trip advisor and other reviews have come down to these three hotels. Any comments from people who have stayed at any would be greatly appreciated. Please if you want feel free to suggest others. They are all within what our budget would allow.

1) Radisson Hotel - Lake Buena Vista

2) Radisson Resort Orlando - Celebration

3) Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott

Thanks:goodvibes

They only one that we have stayed at out of those three is Radisson Resort Orlando - Celebration and we loved it. We were only there for one night but it was very nice. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. One thing that I thought was nice, with our room they gate us one free drink from the pool bar. I also think that they do things by the pool for the kids but we got down there to late. My children loved the water slide there too and really want to go back. The resort is located in a convenient area, not far at all from Disney.

Assuming the Fairfield Inn is the property in the Marriott Village, I would choose the Fairfield Inn. Location is better, property is better. Just my opinion.

I don't kow about any of these, but I can say, I don't trust Trip advisor. I've read lots of false stuff there.

The offsite places near WDW that I've liked are Caribe Royal, Marriott World Center, and teh Swan (sort of onsite, but not Disney). The Nick hotel is across from the MWC. Though I'd also add that I prefer onsite.

I'm also willing to be that DIsney will offer some good deals for October.

Can any one suggest a hotel to stay at off -site that is close and offers transportation to the parks?

I found a really neat looking hotel last night called DoubleTree Castle Hotel. It sounds close but could not find any information if they offer trans. to the parks. Has any body tried them?

I cut and pasted this from their website:

Scheduled shuttle to WALT DISNEY WORLD® theme parks
& Universal Studios Florida® (FEE)

Looks like they have it for fee.
