As part of a fear factor style game show my ashes would play into horrifying challenges in order to be the winner.

Instead of the cinnamon challenge it would be the kdonnel ash challenge.

Drink a glass of kdonnel tea.

My kids have known for years to scatter my ashes in Yosemite someplace. I don't care where. My dad wanted his ashes scattered under the avocado trees in our yard.

Kind of funny (to me) story... both of my kids were altar servers, and one time while serving the priest was talking about being buried in a cemetery. Both of my kids looked directly at me, laughed, and pointed... lol ... because they already knew of my wishes.

a friend's dad was fond of gambling. he used to say that if he had his wish he would have his ashes spread across the floor or one of his favorite gaming casinos. as it happened one of our shared co-workers had family acreage near one of those casinos so after friend's dad passed she offered to let the ashes be scattered there so he 'could at least be close by'. my friend had a wicked sense of humor and chose a windy day to scatter-her hopes were that the wind would carry some of the ashes over to the inputs for the casino's hvac system and 'daddy will spend eternity where he spent his time-on the casino floor'.
