looking at the cmas decor

We are planning a trip to Universal, on December 11-16. However being the Disney resorts will be decorated for cmas, we can't pass this up. We have decided to drive down, so since we have our car, we are hoping to resort hop, to see everything decorated. My question is, do you have to pay to get into Disney property, or pay to park at the resorts, is the time limited? We were at Disney in July and really enjoyed Yachts/Beach Clubs buffet, and were hoping to get lunch there again. So if eating in, do you pay for parking? And if they do make you, can you apply that parking pass to other hotels? Is there any way to eat at any of the park restaurants, without getting in, to ride the rides. I was also thinking about getting to AK, to eat at the Donald's breakfast (Dinosaurus theme). And I think I remember there was a separate door to get in the restaurant
Any help in this area, would be greatly appreciated.

i can help w/ the donald's breakfastasarous part of your question. this will require park admission as it is located well w/in the park. sounds as if you are thinking about rainforest cafe there. it does have a separate entertance outside the park. good luck!

Once we visited Orlando and wanted to eat at Artist Point in WL. I had PS, told that to the gatekeeper, and was able to park and eat, no problem. We walked around the grounds afterward and it was so lovely.

I've heard that you sometimes get a 3 hour pass to park when eating, we weren't given a pass.

You do not pay to park at the hotels, unless you use valet parking.

DD has lovely decorations, a terrific lego store and restaurants, and there's no parking fee there.
