DH wants to get a color laser printer for his work. It would go on my desk and would replace my inkjet.
I know I need special transfer paper to do transfers on a laser printer, but otherwise, does anyone have any opinions/experiences with them?
It looks like the majority of them are max 600x600 dpi. Is that a high enough quality for a really sharp transfer image?
We're trying to find one around $500 or less that Office Depot carries (4000 MyPoints, ya know? LOL)
Two that I was looking at are
HP Color LaserJet CP1518ni
Brother HL-4040CN
I'm not having any luck finding reviews on them though.
I am not set on those two - just two I was looking at --- PLEASE share what printer you like and why!!
Oh, for practical purposes, DH wants it to print product booklets (probably 20-40 pages each) for his business. So it does need to have a clear print function in addition to decent images! (I read a review on one that had fair images and POOR text... not good! I need both image and text to be a decent quality - without breaking the bank!)
