I don't know how much different your renting weeks is from Westgate Lakes but could a DVC member give me a price for such an event .I have grown tired of my home resort and heard very good things about Disney timeshares and their rooms. I really dont like the point system to be honest. I need someone other than a mouse representative to provide me with the pro's and con's. I like the fact that i have a deed for my 3-bdrm villa .

We have deeds also, just in case you thought we didn't, that legalize our ownership in DVC.

Looks like it would be between 263 - 314 points depending on where you wanted to stay. Most people charge $10/point, sometimes you can find people willing to charge less. I love DVC and the fact that we have a point system. That way we are not locked into a certain week or timeframe. If you want to go for a couple days great or a couple weeks depending on how many points you have and what season. We have 350 points so that gives us a lot of options. Plus we were able to use the points for our Honeymoon in Hawaii. That and the fact that we get to go to Disney (who could get sick of Disney??) makes it so worth it!!
