Look who just got back from his ausome date :)

LisaNJ25,

I actually went with this

Love In Bloom™ Bouquet:

C8-3078_c.jpg

This sweet bouquet will put a sparkle in her eyes. Soft cream roses, pink snapdragons and pink carnations are accented with seeded eucalyptus. All are designed with feathery limonium in an urn-shaped glass vase. And boy did she love them. Everyone at her work went nuts when they were brought to her and made such a big deal about who sent them to her. Of course she said her new boyfriend :flower3:.

CrazedDisFan,

We were just talking about this on the phone. No matter what anyone else says, we know that in our hearts we were ment to be together. We realize that those friends who tell us do this and don't do that are just trying to look out for us, but don't understand what we already know.

:wave2: Jason

:thumbsup2 I  the tagline you added to your signature ;)

Renee,

I have to thank you for that. Your the one who mentioned that in the first place. It's funny all the sudden since I met her I have all these expressions and feelings that I have never had before. I am telling her stuff (romantic by the way), that I have no idea where it's coming from and she loves it.

RonnieJo66,

It's weird. Today I told her that I realized that some times she might just need a shoulder to cry on and not want to cuddle and that part of being a good supportive boyfriend is being her best friend first and foremost and everything else second. I told her that I was really cool with this, and all I know is that this is coming directly from my heart.

Jason,

The heart knows what the heart wants

It is not to be questioned...go with it ;)

Renee,

For the first time ever, what my head and heart are telling is the same exact thing. I'm sure you already know this, but it's a wonderful feeling when that happens         .

:thumbsup2 Yes I do!

I'm going on 17 years of marriage with my best friend and soulmate.

RonnieJo66,

Well according to a couple people at work, I'm going at this the wrong way and they would never think of doing anything like this because to them it's not the proper way to date someone. Apparently I missed the memo that stated that men are not suppose to do anything nice for a women especially send flowers after a date no matter how well it goes, because it might send the "wrong signal".

NO WAY, don't believe your evil co-workers, they have NO idea what Flowers can mean to a girl. ;) I am so glad it turned out well, and I see a DISNEY WEDDING in the future! :thumbsup2

Just promise us, Jason, that even if it is just a $5 bouquet from the grocery store, you will NEVER stop sending her (giving her) flowers. My DH sent flowers all through our first year of dating but 15 years later, I only get them when he's in the dog house.

My cousin used to buy his wife grocery store flowers all the time. When she died, he continues to do it, only he takes it to where she rests. I think that is as sweet as the email that circulates every now and then about the man who paid a florist in advance of his death to send his wife roses every year on their anniversary.

You're going about this all right. Don't listen to your friends and coworkers. While they're looking out for you, they may also be jealous of your spark and happiness!

Gosh, it makes me so happy to read about your love that is blooming!

Poohbear123,

Obviously we are a long long way from that, but with both our love for Disney that is a possibility.

RUDisney,

Thanks. We realize that most of them are just looking out for us, but we are very happy with the speed and direction of this relationship. I think that most of our friends are just not use to this situation and that's what they are worrying about.

It's going to be a real shock on my parents because up to this point I have been pretty much free to do stuff at a moments notice and they pretty much had 100% of my attention. Now they will only have 50% of my attention, but I know they will be very happy with me.

Good for you Jason! I'm glad to hear that everything went so well!

Good job on the flowers as well :thumbsup2

HayGan,

Thanks. I thought it would be a nice touch especially after such a great date and trust me she really really loved them.

Sounds like a great date. I know the take it slow thinking BUT sometimes you just know. My DH and I dated less than one month when he proposed. We just knew. : ) It felt right. We were married about 10 months later and have been married 11 years and have two great kids. Oh and my mom introduved us - the first time she has ever set me up in my life (it only takes one time)

Have a wonderful 2nd date............

I was going to say the SAME thing. DH and I were only dating 4 months when he proposed and we have now been together 7 years and married for 5 (we were engaged almost 2 years) and we have two beautiful kids and it just keeps getting better. I had so many naysayers try to rain on my parade after we got engaged so quickly...telling me we shouldn't move so fast. I said and still say go for it and follow your heart! I knew my DH was the one and he says the same. So happy you had such a great date. Keep us posted!

Oh and by the way, my husband also sent me roses after our first date and STILL sends me flowers, he just sent me a dozen red roses yesterday - juts because!

zalansky,

Thanks. All couples have there own pace and what's good for one might not be good for the other. I mean if going slow and not holding hands and cuddling until you've known each other 3+ months worked for them great, but that's not the pace that either one of us wants.

Don't listen to those coworkers. You two keep doing like you are and follow your hearts - they know best. :thumbsup2

:surfweb: Morning All...

Another day closer to your next date Jason! ;)
