Look what we woke up to this morning! Day 3 pics added!

Well, here it is, monday morning, and I could post another picture of the snow, but it looks exactly like the first pictures. IT IS SNOWING AGAIN! Ok this was fun, but I am ready for it to stop now.....

Are you kidding me John? You are SO blessed...you have a beautiful log home, a beautiful family and live a beautiful place with lots of land around you!! Unless you're having to drive and/or work in it all day...I say bring on that cheerful white stuff! :goodvibes

I notice how the people that dont have to deal with it 5 months out of the year are always so fond of it. :lmao:

Sorry Sonya but you lack perspective ;)

Hey I lived in the mountains in Colorado (Bailey, CO) for 2 years and LOVED it! :goodvibes But the air is dry there, so that does make a difference!

Pardon me, I don't have to deal with it 5 months out of the year and I have NEVER EVER been fond of snow, EVER. ;)

What freaks me out about those pictures is the empty pool. Us Floridians know NEVER to leave a pool empty for any length of time, it pops out of the ground! (We kinda have a water table problem here and all....;) )

You are correct, that is a different kind of snow than what we get. Right now we have been getting lake effect snow for 3 days. A system doenst just move through here, some of them stay for a week or more when they run into the front coming up the East coast. I am just thankful I dont live on the West side of the state.

Okay, now I feel bad for complaining about being cold this morning. <BG> I know it's a pain for you guys, but I am enjoying seeing your photos.

:rolleyes1 "It's begining to look a lot like Christmas....everywhere you go..."

Ok, so dont anyone thrown anything at me but.........I LOVE the snow! We are in CT and cant wait for the snow to fly! We are suppose to get some this weekend, but we will see. It finally is getting cold enough so maybe it will happen!

Over 38" just south of here - the ski resorts are loving it! We've only had a dusting so far!

Snow .... ohhhh, ahhhh! My, my.

We took our smaller rig out to Agua Caliente this past weekend. Still running the Air Conditioner through the afternoon heat. Slept with all the windows open and fans running. Had a great time hiking, watching hummingbirds, soaking in the pools. So glad the camping season has finally returned.

But my, my -- that white stuff is pretty. Hope you enjoy it!

This probably belongs on the "Useless Facts/Chit Chat Thread" but did you know.....

We had snow in Tampa, Fl that accumulated one inch in January 1977 & then again in December of 1992! They had to close the I-275 in Tampa because people were skidding all over the place - and most of them were transplanted northerners!!!

If our temps plummet tonite like they are predicting, we could have snow tomorrow, or at least a frost in inland Florida! Brrrrrr - I'm LOVIN' it!!

Ah, yes Scott! That's why I live in Florida! I grew up in Buffalo & after 35 years in Fla, I have never lost the ability to sense snow or frost on the ground before I look out the window due to the way the sun casts it's light off the white stuff. It's like riding a bike...you never forget!:lmao:

You're right, as beautiful as that part of the country is, I think the wet heavy snow would get old really quick. Where we lived in CO, there were only a few months out of the year when there wasn't snow or ice on the roads. But the only time the roads were tricky was during the late spring (mostly ice). But you could go outside in jeans and t-shirt when it was 45 degrees. What a difference dry air makes!

Ok, this is getting old! Day 3 and remember when I said the ground was too warm for it to stick..... WRONG!!! LOL

You know this isn't supposed to happen this early!!! LOL But Matt is ready to go for a sled ride. :)

Snowy pix are pretty, especially sitting in a warm house. ;)

Wow that is Neat!! Those are beautiful pictures!;)

we have 3" and it was 24 last night - 27 now. Too early. Forecast calls for snow off and on for the next 10 days and the highs will be in the low 30s and lows in the low 20s. :confused3
