Look Out Mickey-Here Come the Princesses!!!

On the Disney front, I wasn't happy with Mama Melrose as I keep reading horrible reviews. I made DH look at the menu's (which I had been begging him to do before I made the ADR's) and his exact words were, "What kind of Italian restaurant doesn't serve spaghetti and meatballs?" So with that, our reservation was changed to Sci-Fi Dine In. I was hesitant to book this because Ava is having a bout right now of monsters getting her. I was afraid, even though it's probably mild, of Ava having nightmares of the horror clips. However, I have been assured that the clips are short and she could easily be distracted from the movie screen.

Just read this. If you are on free dining, you are missing out doing Scifi over MM. You can book a fantasmic dinner package with your plan that will give you reserved seats at MM. It will include appeatizer, entree, drink , and dessert. It is our favorite night show and you are getting a deal. We really liked MM, sci-fi was fun once but won't go back. If you want to try, suggest out of pocket as not good deal as TS. HAve fun.

Ok so I promised an update last week, and I failed. But I assure you I had a very good reason. Well several reasons actually. Number one, both girls had the dreaded stomach flu last week with fever, vomiting, and diarrhea. One would get better and the other one would get down, then vice versa. It all started Halloween night, with Ava and we went back and forth until this weekend when I gave them both yogurt and they got over it. However, Saturday, DH started with diarrhea and I'd had enough. I bleached the entire house. I literally wiped down every surface with bleach, including the garbage cans!!! This bug has got to go. We pull out Saturday evening and I can't have my family green around the gills in Disney!!!

Also, Thursday evening, after Ava not eating for almost a day and a half, she wanted a happy meal. I gladly drove to McDonalds to buy the baby something to eat and promptly got into an accident. No one was hurt, thank God, but it still shook us all up. My poor car is banged up good, but we weren't planning to use it to go to Disney anyway. And my BFF told me that even if we were using my car to go to Disney, then she would've gladly given me her car for us to go.

I promised pics of the goodies I have for the girls every morning. As promised:

Arrival day from Tinkerbell

1st MK day with Chef Mickey Invite. Also have some personalized shirts for the girls being made

DHS day from Woody and Buzz

DTD day- also plan to have extra snack packs made up as the cousins arrive this day. I have extra coupons printed and a sweet letter from Mickey encouraging the girls to share with their cousins.

AK day- girls will also get shirts and bows this day.

2nd MK day

I have someone making shirts for the girls for the 1st MK day and AK day but they won't be ready until Wed or Thurs this week. I'll try to post pics but I'm not promising anything. I also still have a few hairbows to make as they will be part of the gifts.

I got most of it at the Dollar Tree, Family Dollar Store, and Dollar General. I got the gowns on Disneystore.com and Cinderella Movie at Target. I can't wait to see the girls faces when they get there and every morning when they wake up and see their treats!!!

Can't believe we leave in 5 days!!!!
