Look on your free dining reservation for this

I made my reservation through BB last year then added two days when the Disney Visa offer came out. I just called Disney reservation and was told my offer does not include the photo or arcade card. She said the arcade card is probably worth $5 only. I am not so sure about it though. $5 usually last less than 10 minutes for my kids.

I'm sure how long the card last depends on the kid playing. I was disappointed that the card could not be used for ticket games. I felt that would be the best use of the card seeing the ticket games last a few seconds. Also the once swiped the card locked itself and couldn't be used until the game was finished. So it was not possible for more than one person to use the card. (and no I was not trying to steal extra games from Disney :rotfl: ) But if you have a couple of kids how do you make it fair for all. (Besides buy another card...which I'm sure is Disney's intention :) ) My kid played fast and furious and hes good at it. I think he got a couple of games off the card.

As for the 5x7 booked online and package shows the 5x7.

I booked an AP package for one night in May before moving to our DVC resort and I got my package in the mail yesterday. I booked our one night at Pop online with the QSDP. In the package I got the free 5x7, arcade card, and all of the rest of the stuff described here.

That is exactly correct. When you rebook a package using a new deal, you always risk the chance that you will lose a "perk" from the old one.

The benefit of having the Disney Visa allowed you to book a "free dining" room ahead of the general public, but in order to take advantage of it, you had to book by phone. Doing this made you no longer eligible for the "perks" of making an online reservation.

The fact that you already had a package booked is immaterial because once you called, you in effect, changed that online package to a phone package, and thus, not one that qualifies for online benefits.

With my husband going to change jobs here very soon, I doubt we'll get to go in September. But if they did offer the free dining in December, well we might just have to leave him at home! So I really don't think I will continue to bug Disney about this.

Good luck and I hope that you get to visit Disney sometime soon, with or without DH!!! (I am leaving mine home in August when my kids and I take our first trip as DVC members!!)

If you book a package on line, you get a coupon for a free photopass photo.
Your booking code is an internet one.

Disney also has a separate set of codes for the CMs to apply so if you phone in to modify your internet reservation it ceases to be an internet booking, and converts to a CM booking even though the reservation number does not change. This is ALWAYS the case with the Disney Visa codes and Pin offers because these can not be booked on line at all. You always lose your photopass coupon with these bookings.

In order to get your photopass coupon back with your trip documents you must phone them and request the internet code be placed on the package. Then you may run into an availability issue but that's a whole 'nother topic. (And perhaps even a CM who says "Internet code? I don't know any internet code? Do you have the code?")

HTH.

I booked on-line and when FD came out I called and had the CM update my reservation. I just double checked my reservation e-mail (the one I recieved after updating to FD) and it still has the free 5x7 listed.:cheer2:

Well good for you. I don't think I ever started a thread that has gotten this many hits before!
