nope not today.

My goal was to catch up tonight
but you guys did so well with the randomness I only finished page 170
so I need to start on 171 tomorrow....which is like 20 minutes from now....

DH is tired and cranky
thinks I should go to bed
he sat with the girls on the plane

Did I mention it was HOT in florida? Apparently hot for all of you, too. Annual waterpark passes are an awesome thing. We spent MUCH time there

DS has a doc appt tomorrow
and I go to the dentist on thursday ( i think) they will call to remind me

DD10 got swimmers ear
we spent SO much time at the waterparks
I really SHOULD have used the drying ear drops as a preventative

had to get a scrip for swimmers ear med
DD10 woke us at 2AM with ear issues one night
but we still managed rope drop the next day

doc called in a script for her
we picked it up at Walgreens (open 24 hours!)
it took almost an hour to get the script

the transcriber had written Kathy instead of Cassie
and DH's insurance denied it
so had to call insurance co (the pharmacy did, not me)

I was just going to pony up and charge it
but then I learned it was 132.00 instead of the ten buck copay
so I opted to wait until they figured it out

two doses, she was good as new!
DH didn't get much sleep, he can't go back once he is awake
I can!

yikes! I went swimming too!

We went to the waterparks at least five times
I will have to check my notes....
DD10 is a regular fish
always underwater
I wouldn't worry about your ears, none of the rest of the wasfamily was affected

Did you make it to the Pin Trading event at the Contemporary?

It was ridiculous!
Folks with suitcases full of pins...
crazy like Wall Street!

DH and DS opted to sit out in the lobby!

We did some non-Disney stuff
Busch Gardens (that Shiekra rollercoaster is AMAZING)
the Orlando Science Center, very fun
Fun Spot USA, next to Old Town
and Old Town
Kissimmee Go Karts
the Dippin Dots store (twice)

it is really nice to have a car
I remember it taking a long time to get to Typhoon Lagoon by Disney bus
no time at all by car (free parking, too)
We got to Port Orleans quite easily, too (well worth it to visit Bob)
and Downtown Disney

I think I told you about my rental van...
I had several codes from the transportation board here
codes that no one was quite sure where they originated
and if they would really work

so I reserved through Alamo
and Dollar
with four different codes

then, while DS and I got the luggage
I sent DH to pick up the van
with pages of email confirmations
and coupons
(he is such a patient man)
and a cautious mention that the first code or so may not work..

He went to the counter
said to the Alamo man

"Please help me out, my wife says I have to use these coupons and I don't want to make her angry"

hee hee heee


no problemo at all
the guy took the first one (206) and the 25 dollar off coupon
and pointed DH to the row of vans

We really liked the Orlando Science Center
five floors of interactive fun

the Grossology exhibit was there (boogers and poop)
as well as electricity stuff
a wind tunnel to stand in
a chair of nails to sit on
things to make noise
things to climb on
a huge Mr. Potato Head make your own section
animals like gators and ducks and snakes
rocks and minerals
a lazer light show which was incredible
omnimax movies


again, I recommend a visit there
my dad is thinking of getting a membership
he was really impressed
then he can take all the grandkids as his guests

DD10 has had a friend here all day
and now is the time for me to return her to her own home
no sleepovers!

Snow... only 39 days?? That's awesome.... I've got two months now, I'm so ready! Hopefully the hurricane season will be all done by then.

So sorry I wasn't here to greet you this morning (I did pop in before you, thought).
I'm on my last day of antibiotics and this morning I woke up with an awful cold. Not feeling very well so I haven't used the computer since then.

I am having a lot of fun reading your posts and looking at video postcards. You and your family surely had a great time together. I can't wait to see the pics!!
