Hope your first two classes were wonderful, Snow!

Inservice was not horrible
though some parts were
we got horrendous shirts, look like men's collared golf shirts
they are bright, nothing will match them ever, blue
and no jeans or tennis shoes are allowed to be worn with them
and we have to wear them twice a month, on wednesdays
and the first time is the first day of school for students, this wednesday

it is SO not what I was planning on for my first day outfit!

It is not a shirt I would EVER have purchased
or chosen to wear, ever

I picked up a pizza and came home for lunch
as my three are watching themselves this week


plenty old enough to do that
but siblings don't always get along all that well for extended periods of time

they did pretty well today

I have only 16 students
it is going to be a very fun year!

I have no idea where DS is

DD10 left a note where she and her sister are

home from school to quiet

no one home!

my principal is retiring Friday

the new one is a young, tall gal
with very little teaching experience
but she seems okay so far


she is 6 foot one and somewhere between 25-30 years old
that's young for a principal

I just had a quick snack of BIG cheez its

they are so delicious
I think the BIG ones are even better than the small ones
if that is possible




after school snacks
that is what we teachers do when we get home
eat an afterschool snack


it would be even better if someone MADE an afterschool snack for us

must round up the kids before DH gets home
and thinks I don't know where they are

(only true about one of them)

and there is about one drip left in the huge bottle
this will not do
no, not at all!



we also need ziplock sandwich bags


I have a list
two items
that is all


how many bags do you think I will come home with
since I need two things?





I guess 20 bucks and three bags.......

I love ketchup. So we always have some on stock.

We are also a ketchup household that will only eat heinz but my roommate buys Costco sized ketchup. She has been known to polish off a 64 ouncer in a couple weeks.

We had a Secret Life/Make it or Break it party in my room...it was a blast...there were 5 of us...I think the dorm across the street heard us laughing!
