LOOK at this Autograph book

Not sure if I can show this or not, but I just saw this book on eBay and think they are amazing!!!! Thought some of you might be interested. She only had the two of them up for auction and in her feedback she has another one...with a Mickey cover on it. I emailed her to see about getting one for myself.

Disclaimer: I have NO idea who this eBayer is, we were just looking around to get a regular official one for my cousin for her first trip and saw that one.

I agree. Nice idea, but I think if you had the time and inclination you could do this yourself at home for a lot less. Very cute though.

All of our autograph books have been made at home and are very similar to this, just not to this detail. We place a small picture of each character at the bottom of each page for the autograph and the facing page is where we put a photo of the kids twith that character. Then we decorate the front cover with the date of of the trip and other Disney themed items. Usually costs us about $15 for the book and sticker paper.

If anyone has a Dollar Tree store near them, I would suggest looking there for autograph books. The one by us has wonderful, authentic Disney autograph books. They are not like any other ones I have ever seen. I picked up 2 in every style they had on my last trip there (about 1 1/2 weeks ago). They are spiral bound with hard covers and plenty of pages inside. The designs they had were 2 different Winnie the Pooh styles, Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse and then one with the Fab 5. The pages inside are not decorated, just plain, but for $1 each, I'll take care of that myself.

I found them in the aisle with all the notebooks, stationery, pens/pencils and scrapbooking supplies. They also had journals there that matched (for a dollar). I stocked up on these as well.

OK, so how would you go about making one of these? Are the books themselves, at Michaels (I think someone said that)? So it is just about putting the stuff on it? How were the pages done though, if they are already in the books??

Ha ha, I thought $25 was cheap for all the supplies and labor. That is speaking from a scrapbooking perspective: I doubt I could have purchased all the papers and embellishments for less than $25. It's very cute!

I was going to say that it could be done for a lot less. If you got to the Creative DISigns here. . they have THE SAME autograph pages. . .I know that I have seen them on Rosie photobucket!!!

I forget that not everyone may be the scrapbooking nut like me! I have a whole room dedicated to the cause with thousands of different papers and stickers and several die cutters on hand. I think if you are going to buy the supplies specifically to do just the autographs books, then possibly buying them ready-made from someone else may in fact be cheaper for you.

I'm not crafty at ALL!! I like it and would buy one. My sister made my Disney scrapbook for me.

I think $25 is a good deal for that. You could probably make it cheaper if you have the equipment.
Print the pages on your computer. I would suggest a 8.5x5.5" you could fit 2 per page and then just cut in half with a paper trimmer. Cardstock is definitely a good idea. Places like kinkos can punch the holes and bind it for you. I think that runs $7-15 somewhere around there. make sure you bring in whatever you want to use for the cover too.
