It's not a bad film by any means! Corny, fun movies are the best, lol. Spiceworld still takes my No.1 spot however.

Well, there are lots of other movies out there that's basically Romeo & Juliet &/or based off of Shakespeare.

I want to see the movie because I love Disney and I love musicals.

My sister loves the movie and can not wait to see it again. It comes out on DVD from what she said May 23rd so not to long from now. I do have to say i have seen it twice and the first it was just "ok" and the next time i saw it "Corny, but funny to see the mistakes and things i missed the first time". I would have to say watch it if you havent yet because different people like different things. I searched the internet to find some data on how the many viewers the movie got and here is the info:

When "High School Musical" debuted on the Disney Channel on Jan. 20, it drew nearly 8 million viewers, making it the top-rated basic-cable TV show that week. When it was repeated the next night, it drew more than 6 million viewers, according to the Nielsen Media Research group, making it the No. 2-rated cable show of the week.

^^ to me that is amazing to see that show have 8 million viewers the first time it was shown and 6 million the next time!

OTHER HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL NEWS FROM THE INTERNET AND SIS:

- High School Musical 2 is in the works and i am not sure if there is a set date for it to begin shooting or even coming out.
- From the "rumors" on the internet it takes place during there summer vacation and there is a talent show.
- It will feature the original cast of HSM and even more.

I think High School Musical isn't the best idea for VMK...I know tons of people are dying for it, but that'll turn off alot of other players. (mostly the boys) Maybe they should choose stuff that both crowds like. Pirates was a good choice because almost everybody likes it.
