Longest time you've been stuck on a ride?

I got stuck on Mission Space for 20 minutes. Oil had been leaked or spilled right outside the simulator. We got a fastpass for the trouble.
Also I was on Pirates and all of a sudden the boat stopped. We would stop and go for several feet. Finally it started back up, and we got to the end.

I've never been stuck on a ride, with the exception of the brief pauses as they load someone onto the handicapped cars.

However, I did get stuck in the "Fastpass" lane for Test Track once. It was the longest fastpass wait I've had -- over 45 minutes as they had to fix the ride. I kept debating whether or not to get out of line, but it was actually the last ride we had wanted to do for the day before Illuminations, so we just stuck it out (no pun intended).

we got stuck on Dinasour for about 30 minutes... We thought it was part of the ride until we heard the anncouncment that wewould be escorted off it was cool

Just wondering for those you were stuck for over an hour, did they somehow tell you that you were going to be stuck for a while or did you just sit there unknowing.

we didn't know for how long we'd be there, they just kept coming over the PA telling us they were working on the problem. after about the i-don't-even-know-how many'th time they told us, we thought we'd never get off!!

My GF and I got stuck on Dinosaur once. It was during one of the pitch black parts. Everything just shut down. The jeep kept rumbling, but otherwise, we were just sitting there. It was only for about 2 minutes, but it was SCARY! :scared1:

Hey, has anyone ever been stuck on Tower of Terror? What would happen if right when you "drop" the ride shut off, like Dinosaur did for me?!

I don't know but these people do! Click the link and check out these poor souls who were stuck in the drop shaft on the Tower of Terror

As for me, I LOVE getting stuck. Yeah, I'm a weirdo I guess. My favorite was getting stuck in the graveyard at Haunted Mansion for 20 minutes.

Grim Grinning Ghosts Come out to socialize!!!!:wizard:

We were stuck on the Haunted Mansion twice. Once for about 45 minutes right under an air conditioning vent. We got so cold. and my 7 year old DS was crying. The other time we were stuck for about 15 minutes. We've gotten stuck on Splash mountain for 15 minutes and In 2006 We got stuck on It's a small world for about 30 minutes. It was horrible. :scared::scared1:That song playing over and over.

The Haunted Mansion seems like a fun one to get stuck on! So much to see!

On an EMH evening in 2007 DH and I got stuck on Splash Mountain for almost an hour. We were stuck in limbo between the loading station and the first animatronics that greet you as go into the main ride area. By time they let us get out of the logs the park was about to close. They gave us a fastpass to use at any time during our trip.

I got stuck on many rides but the worst one was getting stuck on Test Track in the HEAT ROOM for a good 20 minutes. It was horrible. The cold room felt fantastic when we started moving again.

The opposite happened to me on my last trip while riding with my FIL. I was freezing by the time the ride started again. I also got stuck in Maelstrom (sp?) in Norway right at a waterfall so it splashed me for a good five minutes before moving again. Nothing like walking around Epcot while your dwear is sticking to you :lmao:

A couple of years ago, my boyfriend, his family and I got stuck on the Carousel of Progress, right in between two scenes (I think the first two...). We had to listen to, and sort of see, two scenes playing at the same time for about 10 minutes, which was sort of funny, especially when they started over again.
When we finally started moving, though, we skipped right past the second of the two scenes. For some reason, this is one of my favorite rides in MK, so I didn't mind at all. It's a great big beautiful tomorrow....

Last May we were stuck on Expedition Everest for 45min. in the sun, right before you go in the tunnel with the Yeti. We were going full speed into the tunnel and had a very hard stop. Most of of our train was in the tunnel but the last 2-3 cars were in the sun. They finally had to come up and take us out of the ride car and walk us through the mountain. We were told not to take pictures inside the mountain, if we did our phones or cameras would be confiscated. The CM's told us they have been offered money for the tour we were getting.

A few years ago we got stuck in Spaceship Earth for about an hour. Someone apparently slipped while getting on the ride and broke their ankle or something in the track, so they had to stop the ride while waiting for the paramedics and getting her out. Of course, we didn't know any of this, because we just kept getting the same tape-recorded message over and over about the ride being "temporarily stopped - please remain seated". It was extremely frustrating because we didn't know what was going on.

To make things worse, this was our last ride as we were leaving the park to go to the airport. Needless to say I was really freaked out that we were going to miss our flight (we nearly did, they were calling our name as we were running to the gate!). So I think I could have enjoyed the experience more had it not been for that.

They did finally evacuate us, which was kind of cool. We were still on the "going up" side so we got to walk down past all of the displays. I have a cool picture of my daughter sitting next to the boy on the steps during the rennaisance (nobody said not to take pictures!). It was neat to see everything once the lights were all on.
