Longer hours on 2/21??

I just checked the offcial Disney site and now it says hours at MK for 2/21 (my arrival date!!) are until 10 pm.

Last I checked it was 8 pm. Does anyone know why the change and how crowded the parks are after 6 pm?

I noticed that too, and it left me scrambling to change my itinerary. I want to take advantage of those extended hours. Hopefully it won't mean they're expecting larger crowds.

They are expecting a larger crowd that day. I work on the train and we only run 3 trains when it is expected to be busy (normal is 2 trains) and we have been scheduled for 3 that day. Don't know if there was a jump in hotel bookings or what caused the change but it is usually based on the attendance forecast.
