Longer Caribbean cruises

I know in the past DCL has done a longer (10 or 11 night?) Caribbean cruise on occasion. Has anyone here been on one of those cruises? What ports did you visit?

I'm preparing to talk DH into a longer DCL cruise if it is offered, in 2010. I would love to do a Southern Caribbean cruise, maybe visit St. Lucia or Antigua, just something different. I still love the Caribbean though, and would like Castaway Cay to be included.

Yeah you kinda missed the boat on that one It was back in 06'. They did those exact Islands and more.. It was an awesome Trip. Nothing like being on the Wonder for 11 days It went by way to fast though.

Was that at Christmastime? I remember one of the ships doing a longer cruise sometime at Christmas in the past few years.

Anyway, I can hope for one in 2010!

No It wasn't around Christmas time. it was in September of 06'. We did the 11 night September 16th-27th. They also had a 10 night the 6th-16th.... Im sure they'll have longer cruises. but I don't know. I heard the Med is in talks again but not sure for when. I havent heard anything about doing another southern caribbean. but hey you never know.

While we aren't planning on another cruise until 2011-12 eek: ) if 2010 has some long cruises, I may have to do some heavy lobbying/begging/pleading/puppy-dog eyeing to our travel mates and DH. I wanna cruise for a looooong time.

Oooohhh, that would be perfect! We always cruise in September. I SO want to do this! I guess I can always hope!

We were on the 10nt Southern...Dh's favorite stop was St Lucia. Antigua was a close 2nd.......

Rumor has it, that DCL plans to experament a little in 2010. I have a friend that works for DCl. I was told some stuff that has been over heard was alternating 7/10/11 night cruises in the Caribeian Jan-May (like the First week of may) and then to Eroupe in the summe, then back in Sep for mar alternating 7/10/11 night trips. if this is true I will be going on a 11 night.
