Is it a long walk to Frontierland from the main entrance?

I'm thinking of doing this kind of tour.

Splash Mt.
BTMRR
Peter Pan
Pooh
Haunted Mansion
Space Mt.
Buzz

Then do whatever else till lunch. Any thoughts?

If you're working your way from Frontierland to Fantasyland you may want to stop in Liberty Square after Frontierland and go ahead and do Haunted Mansion before the Fantasyland rides-only because it is on the way. Many people here might suggest that if you have kids you hit the Fantasyland attractions first, as they tend to develop long lines early :)

A lot to do before lunch!

The 3 Mountains should be your 'must do's' (Space Moutain,BTMRR,Splash Mountain) And then see what you can fit in, Have never done Peter Pan or Pooh but I understand the kids rides can get very long queues very quickly.

If it is quiet enough at opening to aim for these before lunch you would probably want to shift The Haunted Mansion to before Peter Pan that way if you follow the list you can just walk around the park without zig-zagging.

How long does it take to get to Frontierland walking?

I am still unsure if this is the way to go. It seems everyone says to start at tomorrowland then go everywhere else. I am thinking of doing it this way to avoid the lines. Or am I just setting myself up fo long waits elsewhere?

Thanks again

The walk depends on the crowds! it is hard to say i would estimate 10-15 minutes average.
I would take the the train it lets you out by SM and you did not rush throgh crowds. ::MickeyMo

However the train often has a queue of it's own so this would defeat the object!

The maps in my 2004 Passporter show the average walking time between points within the parks. Based on those times, Anthony1971 is right on the money. The Passporter says 12½ minutes. I second the recommendation of the WDW Railroad. It's a pleasant way to bypass the crowds and arrive in Frontierland a lot less tired.

So as not to go back and forth and add to the walking you should go in this order:

BTMRR - Furthest Point in FrontierLand.
Splash Mt.
Haunted Mansion
Peter Pan
Pooh
Space Mt.
Buzz

Would this be doable by luchtime? 11:30 or so. I will be in the MK Sunday May 15th and Friday the 20th and possibly another evening as well. I'm starting to like this itinerary more and more as we talk about it. But every pay site and or book says to do SM then Buzz first. Decisions, decisions!

We always go left and head to Frontierland first. Splash Mountain and BTMRR are walk-ons first thing in the morning, Haunted Mansion will also be very quick. It's the Fantasyland rides that tend to take up time as well as Space Mtn. I think that it will take you a little longer then you expect to ride these. We always hit Pirates first thing in the morning too and it is also a walk-on :flower:
