"Long-term" stroller parking?

CMs will move the strollers to create more room/consolidate as people come and go.

first time that happened to my brother in law he thought someone stole their stroller; look of panic on his face was priceless. stroller was far way from where he had parked it. PoC I think it was.

A word of caution: Do not leave food in your stroller. I have seen more than one stroller get ransacked by hungry squirrels.

I can vouch for this. Heh.

We've left strollers "long term" in various places in the parks. We usually park it and tour a big area of the park before picking it back up again.
At MK, we've parked near Carousel of Progress and left it there while touring. We've left it near the Carousel for hours while having lunch and doing FantasyLand attractions.
At Epcot I left it at The Land for pretty much half a day (which is where the squirrels ransacked the food in the bottom).

We found food safer in a soft cooler that hangs from the handles of the stroller, not in the bottom.

If you're leaving your stroller for a long time (or even a short time on a hot day), think about bringing along a towel or something to put on the seat of the stroller. It will bake out there in the sun and be painfully hot by the time your child sits back down. We actually bring along a car seat cover that I was able to modify. I added a few elastic straps to it to attach it to the stroller we rent. This is the kind I have:

Edit: I just realized that is a 3-in-1 set. I'm sure if you look, you can find one that's just for a car seat. Maybe they even make ones for strollers. I had a few extra car seat covers, so I just added straps to one to make it work on a parked stroller.

As our kids get older, we've been doing this. What we usually do is park the stroller in a central area (carousel, Splash) and leave it there while we do the area and give them a little break when we move to a new area and park the stroller there. We've never had an issue leaving it for a few hours at a time.

We like the spot in Magic Kingdom near Belle's Enchanted Tales. It's shaded and not very crowded.
