(LONG) My Dad died today and no one noticed!!!

I am so sorry. My dad died suddenly of a heart attack also and I've been so thankful that it was on a Sunday when we were home.(he lived with us) Any other day, we're on the go so much, who knows how long he would have been there. My sympathies to you. It's easier on them when it's so quick, but it's so hard on the loved ones left behind.

That is so sad and I am very sorry.

It is so difficult to lose a parent. I lost my dear Dad a year ago and still miss him dearly. We watched Dad suffer a long time and that takes it's toll also. May God grant you the strength and faith you will need to get thru this time. You will carry your Dad's memories in your heart forever, tucked away for whenever you need them. May he rest in peace.

But, as others have mentioned, what a blessing for your father to have passed on peacefully doing his normal thing and not suffered in a hospital or nursing home for so long as some do.
