If the show ever comes out that it is fake, I'm going to be devastated.

I doubt she'll come out and admit it but...
she's not even particularly good at what she's doing, and it's an age-old act.
So is what you are trying to say is she "leads" people into giving her info then she kind of guesses? Just asking out of curioisity.

But....... we only see a few minutes of the reading. How do we know what happens during the rest of it or how much is set-up and planned ahead? Just wondering.
I saw her recently at a fundraiser I was at, she is actually a very nice person....she didn't seem to ask any/many leading type questions and she brought closure to at least two families that lost children, that alone is worth something!
Is it worth however much she charges people for her schtick?
If it's a big room, someone is often working the room ahead of time gathering intel.
There's an ad used to run all the time with 'did he wear a name tag/he wore a name tag' First, again, think how much ground that covers, from garage worker to cashier to dr. to etc. There were probably also hints they gave her (I only saw the ad), like that it was likely a blue-collar job, etc., or there was something in the house that'd lead her to guess that.
I don't know if she is real or not, but the fact that she brings comfort and closure to people over the death of their loved ones, I think it's wonderful.
As far as the name tag, she went on a surprise reading and asked about a name tag and it was a father/husband who had passed. The son had a picture of his father on his folder and the picture was his father being goofy wearing his wife's name tag from her high school reunion. It may be a coincidence, but it made that little boys day thinking that his father was still with him.
