Loner At Disney World...

Hey everyone,
I'm new here, but definitely not to Disney...lol. I was just wondering if any of you go off on your own to the parks and stuff when you're at Disney. This past trip was the first time I did this. It was cool because I had freedom to ride what I wanted and stuff, but I felt a little awkward because I was alone and had nobody to ride with. It would be cool to meet somebody that I could get to know and spend time in the parks with them, but I'm not somebody that has great "meeting" skills. Anybody have this same feeling or experience? But don't get me wrong, I think it's awesome that Disney is such a safe place that my parents and myself feel comfortable with me going off on my own. I actually tell people that Disney is my home...lol.

hey. yea i am not the "meeting" type of person. my parents r telling me that i will be able to go around inside disney quest with my lil bro. they r starting to trust me more and more. nice to have u hear.

I just came back from Disney World 2 days ago. It was just me and my dad and my older sister who was there for a band trip. When I was there I went off on my own for a little bit because my dad was taping all my sister's concerts. It was kind of fun, but I enjoy being with other people.

my parents let me, but thats only because i'm a triplet. i have two brothers the same age as me and they come with me everywhere. i hate it sometimes, but love it others.

My parents are overprotective too. I think going off by myself would be fun but I would like to have someone with me. As you all said, I'm not good at meeting people either.

I always go off on my own *&* usually meet tons of cool people to "hang out" with in tha parks!

I dont really go off by myself too much in the parks, because i think it would be weird. I dont have a problem with meeting knew people but when im in the parks there are people there with other people and moslty their parents, so i just stay with my mom. but my mom is going to let me bring my friend with me on my sixteenth birthday and then we will go in to the parks by ourselves, only we wont realy be by ourselves cuz we will be with each other, if that makes ne sense.

yea, i would like to go alone with someone else, but no one else in my family is really my age, unless my cousin's some with us, so i normally hang out with my family. (but i wish i could go off on my own)
