great! I come from near Liverpool and live in London, so I guess my accent is a bit mixed

Nope nothing yet Sue. Pete & Walter are currently on an Alaskan cruise so maybe we'll hear something when they get back.

I don't think there will be much planned other than a place to meet & chat for a few hours.

I just wanted to post a little update.

I've been in contact with Kevin Klose to see if he has anymore information on the meet as time is getting close & I know several people need to book trains, hotels and even flights!

Unfortunately Kevin doesn't have any info as Pete has been dealing with it. Kevin has kindly said he will chase it up with Pete as soon as he is back from his Alaska trip this week, so hopefully we will know more info soon.

I would have loved to attend but unfortunately I have an AGM and annual conference for a national body that I will be nominated onto the board
I don't think I could do the 1,200 mile round trip in a day, otherwise I would be there in a heart beat.

I met a few of the team along with other DISers last June and I would encourage others to go as it was great fun.

We are up fo this too and we will be flying from Glasgow. Don't know anything about you but as you are a Diser we are happy for you to stay over with us on the Saturday if it's easier.

I have posted a thread on the podcast board but so far nothing from Pete.

One of the people on the ABD has posted and said there is a dinner arranged for that evening so I guess we are looking at an afternoon meet.

Unfortunatly Im not sure Im going to be able to make it now, My dad is going into hospital on the 30th August, and Mum is on the urgent list to be admitted as soon as possible. Both my parents are a little poorly right now, so dont want to stray too far from home.

Depending on how Dads op goes, If Vicki is not working then we may still drive up, but will have to wait and see

My sister and I have booked to visit london from northern ireland especially to coincide with this meet!

Can't wait to see pete, walter, kevin and John in real life and also meet some fellow uk dis'ers!
