Three weeks from today, we will be in London.

Three weeks from today, I will be obsessively checking my suitcase to make sure I have everything packed before heading to the airport that night.

YAY! I had dinner with Cynthia & Micheal and it was SO fun! 2 very nice people. Of course, I ran at the mouth all through dinner, but it was so great to meet them & get to know them (and their *adorable* baby!) I can't believe the next time I'll see them will be in LONDON!!!!

Wow, 19 days before Christy and I (and several others) leave for London!!!

21 days until our adventure begins!!!

You know, I've loved all of my ABD trips. Fabulous adventures, where I was able to travel on my own, but not alone.

This is the first time I'm doing an ABD where I feel like I already know a whole lot of the folks going. The only one where it wasn't all total strangers is the Med add-on, where I'd met one couple before the trip (it turned out they lived near my sister, and I met them while visiting her). I think it's going to make this trip really special.

I'm really looking forward to the different dynamic of taking an ABD where I'm already at least familiar with the majority of the people. Where I've actually already met 3 really fabulous people (Laurie, Cynthia & Michael)! I feel like I'm already friends with a lot of you (OK, if that isn't true, let me live with my delusion! ) I think I can truthfully say this time "No, I'm not traveling alone. I'm traveling with friends!"

Mental note - Mike's underwear does not have a checker pattern. Not that this should surprise anybody, but we almost found out on the DATW after PCC 1.0.

Aww! We had a great time too! we left talking about how much fun you were and how our personalities are so similar. I though I talked way too much, so it cracks me up to here you thought you did! LOL

On another note, if anyone in FB wants to add us, let me know. It would be nice to recognize folks at the hotel.

I'm checking (in-depth) for WiFi. I figure if Denise & I get a room at the Chancery on the West side of the building, I'll hit the Pret next door. Should definitely hit it from the lobby. If not, the Penderel's Oak will be my first backup. And I'll get a beer at the same time!

But what is the name of the Paris hotel? I know it ISN'T a Renaissance anymore, but what IS it?

Hilton Arc de Triomphe. Chancery was the one that used to be Renaissance but isn't anymore, but the Paris hotel was always advertised on this tour as a Hilton.
