Logistics - Trails End before KTTK Tour?

Can this be done without waking up at 5 am (I'm not so pretty in the morning):

We're staying at SSR, have to be at MK at 9:15 for the KTTK tour. I'm guessing we could either hop the bus to MK and get to FW (though I'm not really sure where Trail's End is) or we could go to DTD and then take a bus to FW. Should we bag the whole thing and grab something at MK instead, or sleep an extra hour and eat in the room? Thanks for your help!

Once you get a bus to MK, you can catch the boat over to FW. Trails End is a short walk from the dock and that would be your best choice. It is rarely crowded there and breakfast takes less than 45 minutes. Boat back to MK again is quick and easy. It is doable and we love the food at TE.

We love Trails End also, but I would probably sleep the extra hour and eat breakfast in my room!

Unless it is early entry day, grabbing something at the MK would be tight as you can't get to the bakery until the gates open at 9am.

Do the boats from FW to MK start early enough to get you over and back?

I think I'd eat in the villa that morning, too.

Even though Trails end is a very short walk from the boat dock, you have to play travle time into your time. It is a good 15 minute ride to cross the waterway from MK to FW. Then another 15 minutes back. If you just miss a boat you could wait another 10 minutes or more before the next boat comes. I would not chance it. Why not eat there on a morning you are not so rushed or go there for dinner after your day in the park. Enjoy!

I would not even consider eating breakfast at a intermediate location on a tour day. If anything goes wrong with timing or transportation, you miss (at least the start of) your tour. If you must do a sitdown breakfast that day, do it at your resort, at MK, or at a monorail resort.
