Logistics for Disney Chase Visa at Launch Bay

If you look on the Chase website under Disneyland theme park perks for Disney Visa, it very clearly lists the information for the special Star Wars Visa meet and greet. Someone quoted the text in a post above. If you then look at the corresponding Disneyland theme parks perks webpage for the Disney debit card, the omission of the Star Wars meet and greet info is quite glaring. There is no info on the web suggesting that the debit card qualifies for this special meet and greet. The CMs at the meet and greet are quite clear that you need to have a Disney Visa card, not debit card. One CM I spoke to said that she heard that debit card holders received some sort of mailing that implied they would have access to the meet and greet. I have not seen the mailing, which in itself is interesting. I have both a Disney Visa card and Disney debit card. The only mailing I received was sent to me as a Disney Visa cardholder letting me know I could change my card design and telling me about the new Star Wars meet and greet. I wonder if another mailing went out to Disney Visa debit card holders also telling about these new perks but soliciting these debit card holders to apply for a Disney Visa. With two such similarly named products that have such similar perks, maybe the distinctions between the two of them weren't clear enough in whatever this mailing was. As someone who already had both the debit and credit card, maybe I didn't get targeted with that mailing, and that's why I haven't seen it.
I agree w/you about possible mailings to Chase members. I also have both the debit and Disney credit cards.

When we lined up yesterday, the CM repeatedly stated that it was only for Disney credit card members.

Is there any advantage to having the Chase Visa for this, if Darth and Chewie are available for photos in another area for everyone? Just the free photo, correct? But the characters themselves are available elsewhere?

We went yesterday............45 minute wait for the regular line. We walked right in with the Visa card.
DGD was afraid of Darth, but as soon as we left she wanted to go back....so headed back today

I arrived on Friday 12/11 at about 5:30 with no wait. The experience was way better than the one for everyone. Vader tried to use the force to move me from the line area to the M&G area. I am just glad he didn't choke me.

I went around 5:30 myself with around a 10 minute wait (compared to 25-30 in the regular line). Vader talked to me and rejected me when I asked about warm hugs and high-fives. It was a fun experience (and better than Stitch at DCA!).
