Hi I am wondering if it is best to be logged in in just before the booking window opens or exactly on the stroke of midnight. If you are logged in before midnight will the reservations window automatically allow you to start the booking process at midnight.

Thanks
Michael

just refresh at midnight....that's what I just did a couple nights ago

That would be something new, just clicking "refresh". In the past, if you were logged in prior to midnight, the system still thought it was whatever date/time it was when you initially logged in, even if you clicked refresh/reload.

I also did refresh and it worked. Mine was about 2 weeks ago. I think I was logged in about 30 minutes and just refreshed.

Thanks for the refresh tip, will this work on my iPad
Will you be using Safari to access the web site or the DCL app? It should work using the browser, but I’m not certain how I would be able to refresh my login from the app (although the app does support online check-in and cruise activity bookings).

The app was useless when I checked in, I would go with a desktop or laptop browser for more stable connection

OK the refresh worked fine for me. Just been on and managed to get a Palo brunch on my birthday. We are sailing on the EBTA this year and was worried, as a silver I thought there might not be any spots left. Happy camper here, can go back to bed :)

Enjoy your cruise. We really enjoyed nearly the same itinerary in 2018, 13 nights with additional stops in Malaga and Ibiza and one less sea day. Hoping to book 2021 when the new itineraries are released in coming weeks.

Thanks, this will be our first EB having done 3 WB with DCL. Hoping that losing an hour most sea days won’t have too much effect, although we are from the UK and flying in the day before so we will still be on UK time for the first few days so hoping that it won’t be so noticeable.

The time change is rough. By the end of our EBTA so many people were sleeping in and missing breakfast at Cabanas they changed the opening time to later and stayed open almost until lunch for breakfast! The weather is so much nicer then the WBTA! We loved both Transatlantic cruises though.

Question- Is is necessary to login at Midnight? If I wait until 7 am should I still be good to book everything I want (Palo Brunch, Excursions, Small World Nursery, Princess Gathering). I know with WDW for fast passes, I always logged in exactly when they were available. Is DCL like that too?

It depends on what you want, what booking level you are (If this is your first time cruise you will be the last group to have a chance to book), how many Platinum, Gold, etc are on your cruise, and how many people plan to use Disney for Port Adventures vs going out on their own.

If you are on your first cruise, and you want Palo Brunch and your cruise only has 1 sea day and its a popular itinerary with Platinum cruisers, to even have a chance you will want to log in early to try to get a brunch spot.

If this is your 25th cruise, your platinum and the only thing you plan to book through Disney is Small World Nursery, you can probably wait until morning.

Make sense?

Makes sense, thanks. We are Silver. I'll just plan on making sure I login as soon as it's opened. Prior cruises we never pre-booked anything because we always booked our cruise only 6 weeks out. And because of that in the past we have missed out on excursions we wanted, Princess Gathering tickets. So this go-around I'm trying to plan ahead! Hopefully being Silver, and the fact that we have 2 sea days means I have better odds of getting into Brunch. Although I'm still trying to convince the hubby it's "worth it" as he is a picky eater at times.

Maybe as a Silver for Palo and Princess Meet and Greet but probably not much more - you can likely wait until morning or later in the day for other things. I've never logged in before about noon even as a Silver or Gold and not had issues getting what I want (not interested in Princess M&G however).
