If you reserve a lodge tower room at GF can you see the MK? Or do the lagoon view rooms give you a better chance at seeing the MK? Which building are the lodge tower rooms in? Anyone have good advice on room location for two adults at GF?

I don't believe that there are any lodge tower rooms that face the castle. I think they are all garden views. If you're looking for extra space but want a castle view, you can reserve a lagoon view room and request a corner room when you make your ressie, fax the request and then ask again at check in. The corner rooms are 550 square feet. However, remember that it is just a request and nothing can be guaranteed.

We were in a lodge tower room at Sago Cay and we could NOT see the castle. We did however have a perfect view of Space Mountain and the marina. ;) It's nice having the extra sitting room and the extra TV. The kids could watch the Disney Channel and we could watch the news! LOL ;)

That's right, there aren't any Lodge Tower rooms that are MK view, unfortunately!
You have to decide whats more important, the extra space, or the view! personally I love the MK view :)

Well, for two adults, I would book a lagoon view room, and request a MK view/king bed. But, if the two adults are just friends, I'd book the lodge tower. ;) They are nice, spacious rooms, with two televisions and a nice sitting area. I'd probably ask for Conch Key. :)

The two adults are more than friends ;) (Married) We have never stayed at GF and the rooms/views can be a litttle overwhelming... My dh has his heart set on a monorail resort and I want AKL- we are going to split the stay but AKL room choice is not as overwhelming. So thank you!!! Do you suggest a building or room for the MK view? (Should I request a specific room or just a building and MK view?)

Well, I know princess angel will recommend Conch Key for a lagoon view. The views really are great, the focus when you are on your balcony is the castle straight ahead - really a nice view.

However, Cali-D will recommend Boca Chica or the end wing of Big Pine Key. The views are of the entire lagoon - you basicly see everything on the lagoon in addition to the castle. If you get Boca Chica, though, you will need to make sure you request an unobstructed view of the MK. I know both Sago Cay (I stayed there a couple weeks ago w/ MK view - it's the same view as Conch, but IMHO much quieter) and Boca Chica both have king beds; so if that's your preference, it may be possible to accommodate you. :)
