Does anyone lock their strollers while they go into the attractions? I keep hearing stories about stuff coming up missing. I just bought a new stroller for DD and I would hate to have it stolen.

You can run a cable through the wheels, but you can't lock it to anything. The CMs have to be able to move it.

don't bring it... rent. Strollers are a hassle on the busses etc.

We've taken a $200+ stroller twice and never had a problem. I do make sure to hang something on it so that it personalizes it just in case another looks like it and I don't leave anything interesting in the basket below (DS was even using it as a wheelchair last time we were there so you can imagine how much we relied on it!). The CM's will often move the strollers around a bit outside the attraction just to keep them organized. The other option is buying a cheap stroller that you don't mind losing...or rent a disney one.

We have never had a stroller problem. However, we do attach colored ribbons (the kind that curls) on them so they stand out in the crowd. Pink & yellow for DD and blue & green for DS.

We prefer to bring our strollers so we have them at the airport, hotel, downtown Disney etc....

We always take our own stroller and have never had a problem. I even leave my backpack in it (no valuables, of course!).

I have heard stories of people trying to lock up their strollers, and it takes up so much time, they give up after a day or less.

We've taken a stroller to MANY parks. We have never had a problem, and we've never locked it up. Like many other posters, we have left things in the stroller and have been fortunate enough to have never had a problem in that arena either.

We take our stroller since it is a lot easier to get around the airport and hotels. We brought a cable with a lock and ran in through the wheels like Deb & Bill said. I also make sure I take out anything that is valuable that I don't want to disappear. I figured it's better to be safe than sorry, because you just never know what may happen.

We have taken our stroller 4 times and about to take it again for the 5th time. One time on our first night of 12 nights there our stroller did get stolen. I was very upset since it was parked all alone at a ride and it was at least 7: 30 pm. Someone's child must have gotten tired and they didn't want to rent a stroller. We checked back and it never showed up. It was a cheaper model so there goes one of the two theories I would like to believe: 1. it was an accident and once realized returned, 2. they thought it was expensive and just "had to have it".

Just be advised that theft happens ALL the time in the parks according to the security and cm there! Good luck.

If your stroller means that much to you, then leave it at home. We preferred to take our older well used model on WDW trips. It wasn't attractive enough to make it a theft target, and people weren't likely to confuse it for their stroller.
