Lockers

I've never used a locker at Disneyland before. How much do they cost? Can you go in and out of them all day? Where do you go to rent one?

I found the prices....but how big is the smallest one?

And i know where the lockers are located...but do you actually go there to purchase them? I can't recall seeing anyhone working there.

The lockers are automated. You can pay cash or use an ATM/Credit Card. There are pay stations for each grouping of lockers, and I believe the cheapest ones are $7. We put three jackets in the small one--they're pretty deep.

You can put stuff in and out of it all day for up to 18 hours.

I think if its just a couple of you a small locker is fine. But if you are going to be doing lots of shopping you might need a bigger one. We like the ones halfway down main street because you don't have to go outside the entrance every time you need in your locker. However if its a busy time they sell out fast so get it first thing in the morning. We get one every time even if we aren't sure if we are going to use it. But we always do!!

We'll just be putting jackets in ours. Maybe a few other odds and ends. In the past, we've had APs and driven to the parks. So we either don't have anything or we keep jackets in the car. But this time we'll be wanting a locker. It's what we did at WDW and it works really well.

Just in case you didn't find that there are a few locker locations, I'll run down the places I know of.

You won't need these, but there are "jumbo" and really big lockers outside of the esplanade (before security) in the picnic area to the left, when looking from DTD to the esplanade. The biggest is $15 and is huge.

Then there are lockers inside the "secured" (bag check) area, but outside of Disneyland. I *think* there are lockers outside of DCA, but I could be totally wrong.

Then there are lockers inside DL and also DCA!

And don't forget the 2-hours-free lockers near Grizzly River Run!

We had a large one, it was $10. We got that size because we had a backpack that we wanted to put it in. When we took the backpack back out we kept our jackets in it and there was a ton of room. For our trip next month we will get small ones for $7 if we feel like we need one.

A locker might be a nice idea. Especially if one might like to bring an extra pair of shoes, socks, a jacket etc. that way one will not have to carry said items, all day long around the park. I have not rented a locker as of yet, but maybe on my next trip, I will. That way if I decide to bring those shoes etc. I can just stash them in one of the lockers. Trips past, I would only carry whatever I really needed or wanted. That made traveling about the park, so much easier. I do not know how people can carry around a large heavy anything all day long. Not I, for I do not care for that work out. Ha!
