We are very excited as we are leaving in two days for CA! Thank you so much thus far for your tips for a 1st time visitor. I have never used lockers ad Disney World, but will need to use one at DL. We will be sure to buy our tix ahead of time and be there when the park opens. So when we get into the park, where do we go? And how much are they (just like to be prepared)? We are staying at the Hojo across the street, just get the tix there?

Thank you

There are lockers in Disneyland next to the Ice Cream Cone stand between Market House and Disney Clothiers. When walking up mainstreet from the entrance they will be on your right hand side, Turn at the fruit cart they are in the back.

There are some by Fantasyland Theater that use keys, not sure if they're still for use or not.

Outside Disneyland along the wall by the bathrooms is another set of lockers.

INSIDE the picnic area is another set of lockers. These are larger and will hold a cooler. I think they cost a bit more per day, but I remember thinking when I looked at them that they weren't outragious in price. (I think it might have been 6/day, but I could be wrong)

By Guest relations and Lost and Found next to DCA (outside the park) is another batch of lockers (and usually the last to fill up when it's crowded).

Just iside DCA is another batch of lockers. These are inside to the right near where you rent wheelcharis and strollers.

Also there is a little building near Grizzley River Run. the back side has lockers. These are free for 2 (i think could be 1) hours. You pay when you pick your stuff up. After the free time it's charged in 15 minute increments (I think, it's been a few years). The point of these is to give people somplace to store there stuff to ride Grizzley river run, and not for all day purposes.

Other than the Fantasyland theater, and Grizzley River run lockers, the lockers are $4 for a small locker. Don't know the price of the bigger ones.

I'm also not sure where bigger ones are located (I always use the small ones). I think DL has some bigger ones, but may not. I also think outside locations may have some bigger ones. I know the picnic area does have bigger ones. I have heard that all locker rental locations have 2 sizes, but I'm not sure, as a small one usually fits my backback a couple jackets and a few pair of shoes, shoved in tightly. The last time I used a locker we put rain gear for 5 plus a backpack and 2 Disneyland Childrens Lunch boxes, and an extra pair of shoes and still had some room left over.

You find a touch screen, and pay and it picks out a locker for
you. It then gives you a recipt with a code on it to use to re-enter your locker. DON'T LOOSE your paper. You may enter as many times in one day as you please. You must go back to the same touch screen that you started and they are numbered. Your paper will tell you which locker rental touch screen to use in case you forget. You may reenter these lockers as many times in the day as you please. No keys to return or deposits on the lockers.

One down side is that the lockers are not transferable (you can't pay for one in DL and then get another in DCA). However since it's just a short walk, if you will be doing a lot of park hopping, it's recommended that you get a locker at one of the outside locker rentals.

The locker rentals to fill up last are the ones by Lost and Found outside DCA. On New Years Eve 2 years ago, this was the only place to have available lockers.

I'm not sure if the key lockers by Fantasyland Theater are for public use. I know at one time they were for CMs only. Besides they are only good for one use.

Disneyland will not allow you to bring hard sided coolers into the park. Even big soft sided coolers are generally also not allowed in the park. These may be stored in the big lockers in the picnic area (or left in your car). We have taken little lunch sized coolers in with some drinks with no problems. At one time all drinks other than water were not allowed it. I have gone in with fast food drink cups and not had a problem.

A few snacks are also generally not a problem, however the more food you bring in the bigger the chance you have of being turned away. DL has a picnic area located right outside, and they expect people to use that rather than taking up their inside seating areas for people to eat the food they brought from home.

wow. thanks!! I could not have asked for a better answer.

Since we will just be going to one park, we will get one on the inside.

thanks again!!:D

The largest ones will hold an airline carry-on sized bag and I believe they are/were 5 bucks-

If my plane leaves later in the day- Ill checkout of the hotel and park my stuff in a locker till its time to go- They work great :)
