locker rentals

Has anyone rented a locker and how much do they hold? Two light jackets? We are going in January and if it warms up during the day we don't want to carry our jackets.

We've rented them at Epcot, they are the same size you find at airport. Big enough to hold at least 3 jackets, backpack & hand bag

The lockers are approx 16 inches by 16 inches and about the same deep. They will easily hold two jackets and a back pack. Make sure you get one early in the day because they go quick.

We rent a locker every day we are at the parks. We arent rope droppers, so we are never there really really early, but we have never had trouble getting a locker. Not even at night when we park hop. There are 2 sizes of lockers, and they cost the same. We always ask if they have any bigger ones left. We can fit A LOT of stuff in there!! Sweatshirts, bag of rain ponchos, our refillable mugs ( its nice to have them when you get off the bus at the resorts. The kids always want to grab a drink before going back to the room) extra clothes and even our video camera. The big ones are great. We stuff them full ( its usually 2 families sharing one locker).Just remember when you are park hopping, tell them that when you are returning your key. They will give you a card that you can give the locker CM at the next park. THen all you pay is the refundable deposit that you will again get back at the end of the night.

I think they are 7 bucks, and you get 2 back when you turn your key back in.

In the past, I noticed that if you hop from park to park on the same day, you could present your receipt for the first locker at the second park and get a locker at no cost. As long as it was the same day, the locker at the second park was free!! Not sure if they're still doing that, but that was my experience in 2002.

Is the 16x16 the only size of locker they have? I was hoping to bring a tripod to photograph fireworks, but I don't want to have to tote it around all day.

Im pretty sure some of the lockers are bigger than 16x16. The sure seem bigger than that. We always get a bigger one.

I thought that when you turn your key in at the park, and if you are hopping, they give you a green card along with the 2 dollar refund. When you get to the 2nd park, you give them the reciept/card and the 2 bucks. Then you get that 2 bucks back again when you leave. Its really not a cost to get the locker at the 2nd park.. its the refundable key deposit you are giving back at the 2nd park.

There are two sizes, but it really depends on the haw small your tripos closes down to,

On our first day we went to TL. We got the large locker. We put in it. I large Duffel carry on bag. One small Carry on bag. One small Purse back-pack. 2 pairs adult Tennis Shoes. One Kid Tennis Shoes, The cloths we were wearing when we changed into our swim cloths.

It was packed tight. but you'd be surprised what you can fit in them.
