Okay...since I'll be 7 months pregnant for our Christmas trip to WDW I know that I'll need lots of water to drink but don't want to pay $3.00 a bottle. The plan is to bring a case with us to the hotel which will mean that I'll need to carry at least 2 bottles with me at the parks. I honestly don't look forward to that.

My questios is this: how much do the lockers cost at the parks so that I can store water/coats/etc. and not have to carry everything.

Thanks in advance!
Jody

I want to say the lockers were about $5; after you got back $2 when you turned in the key. I could be wrong. It certainly was no more than $7 a day with money back at the end.

Hope this helps a little. I am sure someone out there will be able to give the actual total. But I think I am in the ball park somewhere.

Congrats on the new Baby! Hope you are both Healthy and
Happy!

Hey JodyTG, Congrats!

I'm a father of 3 kids under 6 yrs old myself so I understand the need for carrying water. We are going the second week December this year. Anyway I saw a great idea, I think it was on Mousesavers. Brita sells a regular size water bottle with a built in filter. ($7 at Walmart) According to many you can refill these at the park at any water fountain or even a bathroom faucet and it'll taste as good as bottled water! It can be refilled something like 100 times! Anyway, we bought two for our party of five.

Also, depending on what time of year you are going you may not need jackets. We've gone a couple times at the beginning of December and there was no need for coats.

It may be a great idea but I've tried this 'gadgetry' and completely unimpressed with the result.

The water will 'trickle' instead of 'flow' from the spout, and it doesn't cleanse any foul taste.

PS: Maybe the final product is better, I tried using it during their test-run before they introduced it in a widespread manner.

The lockers are $5.00, you pay $7.00 and when you return your key you get your $2.00 back.

HAVE FUN!

Thanks you guys! I think I'll try the Brita bottle, too.

I think that I can deal with paying $5 for the lockers too just for the convenience. I hear that the weather is SO unpredictable in the winter that you may be wearing shorts one day and a heavy coat the next. I'll probably overpack to be prepared for ANYTHING.

plutosmyfav, I have already practiced packing and we are not going til Jan 26th. We are staying Jan 26th - 30th and I wanted to see if I could fit DH and my clothes in one carry-on bag each. So far so good. I dont want to have to check any luggage this time. In October we stayed for eight days and there was 7 of us and it was just to much luggage. I already have my toiletries packed.
