Lock off/2 BR? How do I tell?

We're looking at BLT, CC, BR, BWV, OKW...we really want to rent rooms that have three dedicated beds...(Queen/King), when touring Aulani, they showed us the lock off option...how can we tell which resorts have 'lock offs'? We mostly want to travel in September, would that mean we want a November or October use year? Thanks!!

It is a booking category.

BWV has no dedicated 2BR units, so cross that off.

Every resort has lock-off 2BRs.

If you travel in September, you want a UY BEFORE your month of travel - so, August would be good. October would be the worst month. There are no November contracts.

So, if I'm looking at the 2BR villa options on 'any' resort...are they all lockoffs? If not, Is there a way to see which ones have more lockoffs?

Poly is all studios and the bungalows. No 1 or 2 bedroom villas. When booking a 2 bedroom, it will say 'lock off"...except maybe BWV since they are all lock offs. But the rooms with 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom are dedicated rooms, not lock offs. Lock offs are a 1 bedroom and a studio with a connecting door.

With the exception of OKW which has 2 beds in a studio, the rest are a bed and a pull out sofa in the studio part, and a king in the master bedroom.

From what I can tell, only Aulani and OKW have 1 King/2 Queen in the lockoffs...but I saw a video where SSR refurbishments had a Murphy bed instead of a sofa bed which to me is very similar to a 'better' bed...I just can't tell if those are in lockoffs or just the 2 BR dedicated. Ultimately, that is the best layout without having to go to a 3 BR for our family the next 10 years. Hmmm.....

There are two types of 2br. Lock-off and dedicated. A lock-off consists of a studio and a 1 BR with an adjoining door. A dedicated can only be reserved as a 2BR. Since a lock-off includes a studio as the second bedroom it has the beds of a studio. At wdw the only studios with 2 queens beds is okw, so you are right, it is the only lock-off with 3 real beds. However, all dedicated 2BR have 2 real beds in the second bedroom. So given your descriptions you should want a dedicated 2BR not a lockoff. As said above bwv has no dedicated 2BR, also Jambo has no dedicated 2 br. Because a lockoff requires a studio to be available, dedicated 2BR are more available than lockoff 2 BR. When booking they are different villa types.
