Location room request at Saratoga Springs?

Other than a 5 day stay at Old Key West, I've never stayed at a Disney resort. I exchanged into a one bedroom at Saratoga Springs for June 3-10 and in the early check in, it has a section for location requests. When I did early check in at OKW, it made no difference but it was during Thanksgiving week. I'm sure that I'll like any room but, for those that know something about the resort, what location at the resort would you request? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What is your traveling party? What is important to you as far as location (pool, QS, bus)? Preferred or Standard?

If you don't mind me asking will you be relying on Disney transportation or your own? Also do you like to sit out by the pool and do you normally purchase the drink mugs?

Just myself and a 20 year old daughter and 9 year old son. We won't be getting any dining plan but will probably get the mugs. We plan on going to a park in the morning, come back to the room around 1 and use the pool, and go back to the parks between 6 and 7. At ONE, we were next to a bus stop but it's not extremely important to be that close. I guess pool would be the number one priority

I would recommend Paddock area then. Has a pretty sweet pool with a nice slide. Also has poolside eating. You're also a quick walk to DS for the food and entertainment there.

I totally agree, another great place that I have stayed at and enjoyed is the Grandstand (Preferably buildings closest to the pool). This area is really nice and quite but has a nice pool and hot tub (no slide) with a mug refill station and some charcoal grills nearby if you buy your own groceries for a bbq.

That's very good for SSR since the bussing there is not the best because it is so far away from the parks. Overall I believe any building near one of the pools would be great for you!
