Location or size...which is more important?

My family is planning a trip to Disney in June 2008. It will be my parents, my husband and I and are two daughters who will be 11 mos. and 26 mos. We know we want to stay on the Disney property. Originally, we figured we would book a 2 bedroom villa at one of the VCs, but I am now thinking we might be better off book two rooms at one of the monorail resorts. Since our girls will be so young, is the location more important. In some respects it seems crazy to book two rooms...we'll be paying more but getting less as far as size and amentities (full kitchen, etc.) HOWEVER, being close to the MK would be great with two babies AND a double stroller. Can anyone offer some words of advice? WWYD regarding the hotel situation? Thanks so much everyone!!!!

I'll ask you an honest question... how much use do you really think you will get out of a kitchen? Do you think you will really use the washer and dryer. I can tell you I use the fridge and toaster and that's it in the kitchen when we travel. We are big fans of DVC (members) but we really don't use the full villa to the extent that some do.

However if you really want to try to save even more money, try renting points from a DVC member and also consider looking at the WLV. You don't get the monorail, but truthfully unless you stay at the Polynesian and are willing to walk to the TTC, being on a monorail is only good for MK. WLV at least has boat service that is nice and relatively fast to MK.

When we stayed at the BCV, the kitchen was nice, but we REALLY used the washer and dryer. However, that said, location is a big deal to us too. And the monorail resorts are very nice and spacious. They all sleep 5, with two queens and a day bed.

As helenabear mentioned, the Poly is the best for access to both MK & Epcot, due to it's location next to the TTC.

The CR, is great because you can walk to the MK, and you are the first monorail stop when leaving MK. And then you are only one stop from the TTC to transfer to the Epcot monorail.

Now, our absolute favorite is the GF. We love the atmosphere and the luxury of that resort. It is one stop from the MK, and you can take the boat back from MK to the GF. It is a bit longer to get to Epcot, but we still don't mind it. It is our favorite monorail resort, because there is just so much there.
