We just got back from our trip down East, so we've seen a lot of different prices. We went down through the States. and filled up in Calais, Maine just before crossing the border, and they had the C$ equivilant posted at .92 / litre, there were a couple of places even cheaper right at the border. When we crossed, the first station we saw was $1.19. We stopped to eat at an Irving shortly after that, and while we were in there it went up over 1.29. We spent most of our trip in Nova Scotia, and it ranged from 1.27 to 1.35 depending where we were, and what type of station it was. The PetroCan's seemed to be the highest.
The station in Port Hope that we had filled up at before leaving was .94 approx. when we left last Sunday. Today it was close to 1.30!
Most of the time it cost us anywhere from 50.00 to 63.00 to fill the tank on our car, and it's not even a very big tank!
We're supposed to be driving to Orlando the middle of October, so I certainly hope prices come down before then!
