Local DVC Members

Does anyone know of any local DVC member groups.

The internet is a great forum for this type of group, but sometimes it nice to get to know the people that are local.

Anyway, if anyone is in the KC area, let me know!!!

(FYI: I have spent the last two days painting a babies room to match our Disney sheets and bedspread- What a lucky kid...gets to go to Disney until they are almost 40)

Well, not quite KC, but Wichita!! I know of at least one other DVCer who lives here and have heard about others. And I've seen posts from another DVCer who posts on this board. On our last trip to WDW, we flew out of KC airport.

I don't know about KC area, but myself and WDWBill from these boards formed a group here in Rochester, NY. We are in the early stages of the group, our last get together (couple of Saturdays ago) was the first we had people other than ourselves and our DWs attend. We are working on planning the next meeting for late April.

My DH, DS (5), and I live about 30-45 minutes north of Kansas City, MO.

We are in the KC area, Raymore. We haven't come across any other members yet in our day to day activities. It is nice to know that their others are in the area and we are not alone.

We live in Wichita, but we have season tickets to the KC Chiefs! We have also flown out of KC to WDW.

Awww, you guys are all makin' me homesick! I grew up in Trenton, Missouri (about an hour northeast of KC), and in Clearwater, Florida. I was born in KC and lived there just before moving out here to Salt Lake almost ten years ago. Used to work at an outdoor cafe at Crown Center! Also went to college in Kirksville and DH went to William Jewell in Liberty. My dad and grandmother still live up in Trenton, and we visit every couple years or so.

Went back two winters ago to attend the Denver/KC Chiefs game - what a BLAST! In fact, we've had NFL Sunday Ticket on the satellite for several years just so I can catch my Chiefs games! I remember going to Royals games as a kid, right around the time they won the series. My number in little league was always #5. Those of you from there will get the significance.

I'll always be a KC gal at heart!
