Does anyone know what they usually put in those loaded fridges at fancy resorts? I was thinking it would be a cute little surprise to bring along a BUNCH of food and while DBF is showering or something to load the fridge with all of it, so he could have a variety of things to eat without costing a whole bunch of money! popcorn:: I have only seen it once, but don't remember what is in it, but I was young so I thought it was one of the coolest things. When I am looking around the store I never know what to bring along. Also, how much food could I put in a fridge at FFI?

Hi!
Before you plan on doing that I would make sure that the loaded fancy fridge you are intending on using isn't automated. A lot of hotels nowadays use fridges that charge your account when you take something out of the fridge even if you don't consume it and put it back. It saves them the hassle of doing inventory every night.
Every hotel is different but most of them will have sodas, juices, beer and tiny bottles of liquor.
There isn't much room to put stuff in without taking stuff out and if you do, be aware of automatic room charges!

Have a fun trip!

Usually there are nuts, candies like toblerone etc, alcohol, water, soda. I don't know how big the fridge at FFI is but maybe you could just stock it w/things you KNOW your bf would eat/drink during your stay there. You could also buy some Mickey type goodies & throw them in as well.

Have a :wizard: trip!

Thanks guys! I definitely didn't think of putting mickey related things in there, and I don't know why! :headache: :lmao: I guess the store is just so big and since I have never shopped for groceries for more than one day (we just go to the store every single day, for food, since we don't know if his mom is going to eat all of our food) So I never really look around that long, just run to one spot and get what I feel like eating for the day. But I will just have to go around the whole store and see what I can find that will fit. I just thought it was a cute idea since he said that would be cool to see a whole bunch of things to chose from. :) And thanks for the tip wwwosie, I will definitely check for that if I stay at a hotel that has those types of fridges!

Watch out especially for the bottled water. Either in the fridge or on the counter. They could charge you as much $4 or $5 for a bottle. Don't mix them up with your own that you bring!

The fridges like that which I've seen generally have small bottles of alcohol (you could swap in 8 oz bottles of soda or those cute tiny little water bottles if you like) and snacks like you'd see in vending machines.

I do like the idea of getting food that you and your DBF will actually eat though. :)

That's such a cute idea!

Yeah, I think if our fridge does come already packed, we won't even mess with it. It's not worth eating that stuff. I just wanted ideas of stuff to put in an empty fridge. I think he would like seeing a fridge full of goodies after a long day at the park! :goodvibes I never stop surprising him, I love giving surprises no matter how small!

I totally forgot about those tiny little sodas! I love that idea. :drinking1 I also have an idea of a little gift basket to give him his $200 gift card for his Segway Tour surprise. I am not telling him about that until the morning of! :) Well he knows that we have to get up early and everything, but he doesn't know what for! I am going to get like a Mickey plush, a disposable camera, Lysol and hand sanitizer, the gift card, this travel kit thingy I saw at Target, and whatever else Disney trip related I can find. :goodvibes I am soo excited!
