LLBean side trip

I have been to beans on a weekend ....on a night out with hubby and anyother time of the year.......but today was the busiest I have ever seen it........WOW....hubby bought some new boots for hunting and I looked and looked and could not find one thing to get.......I did want some of the hot red pepper jelly that Stonewall Kitchen makes........out of site ...but the lines were longer then the wish for the jelly.......I also skipped into the outlet store at the bottom of the hill and they had a lot of good sales too. I guess spending money today was not for me.......all the other stores in this area were crowded and bus groups were dropping and picking up..........oh the joy of being able to go anytime we want to.......it takes twenty minutes to drive to the main store......GOTTA LOVE IT

Hey, we were up at Bean's late yesterday afternoon! Husband and I were there around 6ish. It wasn't really busy then, but an employee told us that the place was hopping all day long. After making a few purchases we ate at Sam's Place just down the road. Great place for sandwiches and pizza.

We've pretty much given up going to Freeport on the weekends. It's really crowded! Besides, there's nothing better than a midnight trip to Bean's

if it is the same one ......the original came from our city and Mr. Sam Bennett (RIP) started it all.......His pizzas and italians were great and we could smell them after church whenever we came out.......Delicious

We've found Wednesdays right after work seem to be good to go to Beans. I know, that doesn't work for everyone.

pumba-have you checked out the Stonewall Kitchen store in York where the original place is? It's right off the turnpike-easy access back on, too.
