LL Questions on the Eve of my Booking Window

Nothing like waiting until the last minute to get clarity! My LL booking window opens tomorrow so a few questions (for any still up - it’s 10:15pm ET here):

1. I have two resort reservations. 2/20 and 2/22 check-in. So when my window opens tomorrow, I can only book for the first resort stay, correct? Similar to ADRs? Just don’t want to be caught off guard and find I can book all 10 days and have to scramble.

2. Do you treat these like ADRs? Rather than go day by day chronologically, do you book first the higher priority parks/rides? So like DHS should be first since lots of top tier rides that book which? If so, I may go nuts. This is too much planning even for me who plans down to the hour.

3. How does rider swap work for MultiPass and SinglePass? We’re a group of four - me, husband, my 2.5 year old son and my mom. Mom wants to ride some of the big rides, so if I book three passes for our group, does that mean one of us has to ride alone?

4. Any other tips/advice?

Thank you!!

Still up here in Hawaii! Booking LL is not like booking ADRs. It recognizes it as one so you should be able to book up to a 14-day stay.

I think the general consensus has been to try and book the harder to get LL later in your trip.

Can’t answer the rider swap question since we haven’t done it for years, well before MPLL

1. As long as there isn't a gap in your hotel stays, you can book for the whole trip tomorrow.

2. I'd book the hardest to get and highest priority first, then the rest. Just have a written list of each day and cross them off as you book. Keeps everything straight and makes it less confusing.
Thank you! I'm glad I asked and now know I'll need to be prepared to book for the whole trip.

Thank you! It seems I'll be up a little longer rearranging my list, lol.

This is what I have laid out - any advice on what days to book first? I think EP and DHS will be the most difficult, right?

Spaceship Earth
Guardians

2/24 - EP

@thegreatdonaldo indicated above you will be able to book for all 10 days tomorrow.

Since you will have 10 days it really should not matter the order you select you days for LLMP and/or LLSP. For shorter trips I often suggest guests start with the days later in their visit but again you have 10 days so no pressure to order your limited days since you don't have that pressure.

How else would it work since one of you need to sit with your son.

Thank you! I mean if me and my husband ride while she stays with my son, and then it's her turn to ride, can one of us go with her so she's not alone? We've never done rider swap before. Our last trip both my dad and stepmom were with us so no one ever had to ride alone while the other couple waited with our son.

Since you’re not going after Slinky, I’d start with your first three days and trying to get the earliest times you can for Guardians, PFF, FEA and Remy. Your HS choices are not the highest demand rides.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes 1 of you can ride with your mother on the ride swap. When you approach the LL entrance just check with the CM and they will tell you the specific details for the attraction ride swap.

Thank you! This is what I did. We've been on Slinky twice, and trips since then I've learned I get my hopes up to get a good return time only to find it's too late or already gone, despite my best efforts. So I don't try anymore, lol. Plus we love RnR and wanted to prioritize that before it gets themed to Muppets.

Thank you for confirming! We'll see if she actually ends up doing the big rides, lol...definitely Soarin' but not so sure about Guardians or FoP.

Thank you all for your replies! It was so helpful to know going into this morning that I could book for my entire trip.

I secured most of what I wanted. In my frenzy, I accidentally booked Frozen for two days rather than Frozen one day and Remy another day. My son will be happy for this, lol. Also, I forgot to include my mom on one day because I was also trying to get Tron for just me and my husband. Thankfully, I was able to go book her separately with similar return times for what I had for me and my husband. Tiana is too late in the day for us, but I tried, and perhaps I'll try the VQ that day in hopes of something earlier.

Final question - with this new system, return windows overlap? For example, I have a Tot 10am-11am and a RnR for 10:40am-11:40am.

If you’re interested in Remy, keep an eye out for it. I’ve read a lot of success stories about people who got Remy on the day or early in the morning a few days out.

Glad you got everything you wanted!

Thank you! We also have two evening EP dinners so I’m hoping maybe one of those days, once our LLs are done for our first park, I can grab one for later in the day. We’ll see!

All you need to do is tap in for the first LL to open up the ability to grab Remy, however it's a longshot even if you tap into a ride the exact moment the park opens (and that method will pretty much be your only shot at getting it as an extra LL as Remy is very hard to grab day of). I have seen nighttime Remy availability show the day before or super early in the morning so you might be able to modify one of those Frozen's into Remy.
