LL Premier Pass is here!

Can I purchase LLPP for people in my friends/family list like I can LLMP? Or do they need to do their own?

You can purchase LLPP for anyone in your F & F list that also meets the qualification of being a guest at a Deluxe Resort (their own reservation or listed on your reservation) and have a valid ticket for the Park selected. Does that make sense?

Yes!

Also, I want to use a credit card (not my checking account connected card that i'm using for LLMP and dining, etc.) to purchase the big LLPP for everyone on one of the days. I can just enter it manually at time of purchase, right?

Being a family of 6, the Premier Pass at a cost of $2400 for the day is out of the question. We usually spend 2 days at MK so we get to do everything by using the regular LL system. But then my mind started thinking about what if this service could shorten my trip by one day and only do one day in MK. Savings:
One night in a deluxe (2 bedroom since we are 6 people) = $1000 at least
One day less park ticket (about $75 times 6) = $450
One day less food for 6 people = $300
Two days less of buying LL and SP (about $50 per day times 6) = $600

Holy Cow!! I actually may come out ahead and don't have to cross the park and be on my phone all day.
Getting home and going back to work sooner can be a win too!

Yes as @gmi3804 already posted. But to add some detail, I always suggest that you have your Credit or Debit Card already setup in your MDE Account Profile. You are able to setup (store) up to 6 payment methods except Gift Cards.

Why you may ask?

Simple answer is that things happen and on your purchase date Disney may be having issues. In the past they have had issues with accepting Credit or Debit and even Gift cards at the actual time of purchase while Stored Payment methods worked. If you have your cards already saved in MDE and validated you have a little extra comfort.

Note: for Gift Cards consider saving your GF number in a Note or Draft Email on your smartphone so you are able to Copy / Paste right into MDE.

Has anyone heard of this? My DIL said her coworkers say this started 2 weeks ago. $100pp/day and you bypass all lines. That would add $1400 for my hubby and I. Sounds insane to me.

They might have been referring to the combined cost of adding MultiPassLL and two SinglePassLL each day per person. On average that comes out to about $100 each daily.

I should add… this really doesn’t need to be done every day though. We’re adding just a few days of MPLL and SPLL to our 8 day trip, and that budget will run ~$200 per person over the whole trip. Soomething like that would only cost a party of two $400.

And you might add saving in Vacation days used or days out of School for your Children. Time is money and has value. It is also why I see a potential value for many Guests with the LLPP offering.

Will do, thanks!

Gosh, I'm on pins and needles! I want to buy MK for Wednesday 12/4 and we don't arrive until 12/3 so I think I can purchase on 11/26 or 11/27? (does 7 days include arrival day, or day before, I never know) I hope it's still available!!!

Also, is it seven days before check in, or seven days before date you want to purchase for?

I initially thought the same thing but LLMP and/or LLSP has been available since July 24th and not that this started 2 weeks ago as @DopeyRN's DIL's coworker mentioned.

For you that is Nov. 26th seven (7) days before your Dec. 3rd Deluxe on-site stay for up to 14 days of LLPP, LLMP and/or LLSP purchases.

For others following along the easy way to remember which day is that it is exactly 1 week before your first day at the resort. If your first day is Tuesday then your LL date is Tuesday one week earlier.

Perfect, thank you!

For 2025, does Disney have set prices for the LLPP or will it go up like ticket pricing does?

We have no clues since LLPP is only a Pilot program at this point. If it stays then expect the price to creep up just like LLMP and/or LLSP have based on how Genie+ pricing increased from the initial launch prices.

So far Disney has only announced the max price as $449 for a day at MK which will be reached for Thanksgiving day and the day after as of today. We also expect it to reach $449 during Christmas week / NYE.

We’re coming to the World in January and staying at AK and was previously interested in the premiere pass until reading some of the details.

So, if I’m correct (hopefully I’m not), the Premier Pass allows you:

1) One ride per day, in one park, for the listed amount of money. So, Navi River (for instance), will cost $125 per person for that one day. Then, if one wants to go on the Jungle Cruise the next day, that might be $400+ per person.

2) No park hopping which wouldn’t apply anyway as the pass is only one ride per day.

Is this the Cliff Notes version of the way the pass works?

It’s once on EACH LL ride in that park on that day, not just one ride.

Tks, that makes more sense for the amount of money they charge

Yes it comes with one turn at each LL in that park.

For example, Animal Kingdom Premier Pass lists getting one LL pass for these attractions:
  • Festival of the Lion King - it is ONE line that includes both standby and LL so literally makes zero difference
  • Feathered Friends in Flight! - this actually does have standby and LL, but PPLL still makes zero difference as when you arrive there is either capacity to get inside or not.
  • Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond! - again it makes 0% to 1.5% difference whether you have LLPP or not
  • It’s Tough to Be a Bug! - #4 ride that LLMP makes somewhere between 0% to 1.5% difference
  • Kali River Rapids - alot of people don’t want to ride regardless of LLPP since they don’t want to get wet
  • DINOSAUR - LLPP could help midday; standby typically same wait early/late in the day as LLPP midday
  • Expedition Everest - good use of LLPP unless you don’t mind using single rider line
  • Kilimanjaro Safaris - good use of LLPP
  • Naʻvi River Journey - good use of LLPP
  • Flight of Passage - excellent use of LLMP but can also be purchased separately for under $20 per person
This is why Animal Kingdom is lowest cost out of the four parks. Thanksgiving weekend is $179 to $199 before tax per person per day. Honestly the average person is not going to find much utility. The expense ratio per meaningful attraction is probably the worst here, even though it is the least expensive park for Premier Pass.

Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are much more expensive but they also make a much bigger difference.
