Trip Report ~ Monday 5th June (our last day)

Well we woke on our last day and had breakfast, then went into the Disney shop and bought a Disneyland Childs case on wheels! (handy for stays at grandparents and a case for toys on the plane!)
Went back to our room and packed the remaining items and packed some of the children’s toys and souvenirs into there new case!
Went down to reception and checked out which was very easy and quick! We were given a key to the case storage where we could leave our cases.
Time to hit the park one last time.
Arrived at the park at about 10.15 and the crowds! took us ages to get in the park (at least it felt like it) It was packed.
The children wanted to do Buzz again so we headed there first hoping to get fast pass tickets, the queues for the fast passes were huge so we decided to just join the queue.
We watched the fast pass queue get bigger and bigger and got to say we didn’t realise just how long and twisting our queue was.
We finally got on the ride at 11.30 so queued for an hour!!! Kids loved it again but what a wait.

Got off the buzz ride and thought we would see if we could get any other fast passes but they were all either gone for the day or later than we needed to leave!
So we thought we would go onto BTM as we had two fast passes left (got given 5 when we bought our annual passports)
Used the two passes to get Sean and Bethany on the ride then done a baby switch (if you have children too little for the ride) you have to go round to the platform and swap and ride the next time. So Bethany got two goes which she loved. Got to be my favourite ride!
Then walked to the castle went in and went up stairs to to see the sleeping beauty display and stained glass windows etc.

It was about 1.00 by this time and we wanted to have a proper lunch as we were flying home this afternoon.
Decided to go to Auberge de Cendrillon. had a half hour wait so we looked around the shops!
Got seated and had a buffet starter which was salad, fruit, meats, fish etc it was lovely. I then had steak and chips, Sean had salmon, kids had burger and pasta meals.

Desert was another buffet, love being able to have a bit of lots of deserts!!!
Really good meal, lovely restaurant but we were getting a bit short of time and had trouble finding someone so we could pay the bill, which came to 70 euros (about £50.00).
Would love to go back here in the evening as I think we would enjoy it even more when we weren’t pushed for time.
Left about 2.15 as we wanted to go to Disney village for some last minute shopping.
A bit sad to be leaving the park for the last time (this trip).
Done a bit of shopping then caught the shuttle back to the hotel, got our suitcases and waited for the taxi.
Arrived at the airport checked in and waited in the departure lounge to the be told 15 minutes before we were due to take off that the plane had been delayed by 2 hours!

Never mind got on the plane eventually (turns out a bird had hit the plane on the previous flight and had to have technicians check the windows etc and lots of paperwork had to be filled in) Pilot very friendly and sorry for the delay.
Arrived back at Norwich airport at about 8.30 back home by 8.45.
First load of washing in by 9.00!!!!!!

We had a fantastic time, my husband enjoyed it far more than I expected him to. Kids loved it as I thought they would.
I was worried that it wouldn't live up to my expectations after reading this board but it did!
There is so much we want to do again, and some things we didn’t have time to do like the lion king show that we really want to do next time. Would love to eat at the blue Laggoon as it was closed this time.
Can highly recommend the Holiday inn as it is so cheap but a really nice hotel.

Well finally (took me a month to finish it!) that ends my first trip report, hope you enyoyed reading it. I am going to print it out and stick it in our Disney scrapbook.

NOW PLANNING OUR NEXT TRIP IN OCTOBER !!!!!!

Hi, I think it was 35 euros but we had 20% off with our annual passport which worked out to be about £20.00.

I am so sorry that this was your last day.....as that means it is your last report and I have really enjoyed reading them! :teeth:
