Disclaimer: Okay, before anyone freaks out about the fact that I can just Google this, I actually know that, and did  but am hoping to hear from someone who has actual experience with this kinda thing.

The time is coming near when I am going to go "under the knife" to give part of my liver to my mom; probably mid-May or so. It has been suggested (read: demanded) that I complete a living will, "just in case". Which makes sense. The hard part is, I can't afford for an attorney to complete a will for me. :guilty: I looked up Living Wills online and there were a ton of responses, but I'm wondering if anyone might be able to share their experiences with completing a will without the assistance of an attorney? I've tried a bazillion different ways to try to come up with the funds to hire an attorney, but blood from a stone, ya know... :sad2:

Thanks in advance for any and all help in this regard; I really appreciate it! :grouphug:

Have you looked at Legalzoom.com? I know you can create quite a few documents there and I believe you can just have them notarized (but I'd get a second opinion on that). Good luck with your upcoming surgery - and kudos to you for doing this for your mom.
