Life is grand this evening. After two days of wind, rain, and fog, I'm watching the sun sneak behind the horizon after a glorious sunset; meanwhile, I'm sipping a deep, seductive Spanish red vinas viejas that is making my toes curl. And to add the proverbial icing to the cake, I just switched our early June reservation from SSR to VWL. SSR is a fine resort in its own right to be sure, but VWL stole our hearts a couple of years back. I'm already anticipating the relative calm there, my runs between VWL and FW, Hidden Springs pool and hot tub, the geyser, Artist Point's superb cuisine, and of course, the music. I just received my first Christmas gift, no?
